Prequel Lip Visor Sunscreen - 0.34 fl oz

Positives: 1.) does not taste like sunscreen 2.) minty flavor when pursing lips and if product makes contact with the tongue, but only lasts about 1 minute. Negative: product packaging makes it difficult to squeeze out. Not sure if it needs warming up first.

I love the clear version so I wanted to try this and I’m so glad I did!! It’s beautiful color, non-sticky consistency is wonderful on the lips. It’s a little stiff in the tube and I have to squish it around to warm it up so it comes out easier but otherwise it’s a go to for me.

Thick but so hydrating! This was perfect to have on hand for our Mexico trip

So close to 5 stars, but the applicator needs work. Fairly difficult to get product out without the top popping up. The formula, color and price, however, were worth the repurchase.

I like this pretty well. The only thing I don’t like about it is the fact it’s hard to squeeze out of the tube. It’s pretty thick or the hole is too small. I love the mint hint. It’s too glossy. I like less glossy.

I really like the natural tint and formula that stays on and looks natural. Spf 30 is hard to find in lip product. I took a point off for added menthol and not crazy about this type of applicator since takes effort to squeeze and ctrl quantity dispensed. I feel menthol should be removed as this line is marketed as fragrance free and for sensitive skin.

Very nice product. Love the minty flavor. It’s also thick enough that it lasts on my lips a long time.

Found a Prequel product that does NOT agree with my chemistry. The lip visor sunscreen makes my lips tingle uncomfortably, and I removed it before they started burning too much. My lips were red and it took a couple minutes to fade. Admittedly, my skin is very sensitive, and I should have known that this wouldn’t work for me, but I was swayed by the reviews. 😢 I’ll stick with the Skin Utility Ointment!

I was super nervous because everytime I find a lip balm with spf I typically don’t like it. Other ones have left a white cast or feel like a thin oil or really sticky. This is amazing. It’s thick but not sticky. No white cast. I love it. Worth the price will keep buying. It’s my new go to.

I was more than skeptical, grabbed this on a whim for a trip to Arizona, but this product is so nice to use, I was using it at night too. It’s gooey and shiny and adheres beautifully without being sticky or icky. It’s minty and fresh, never gritty. I was just reapplying all day and all evening for the sheer pleasure of using it. I was applying it above lipstick at night. It’s simply lovely.

The balm itself is great but after about a month I wasn’t able to get it out of the tube anymore even though there was lots of product in it still.

There's so many lip glosses out there, but this one out performs them ALL! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this lip gloss!! The minty freshness is so just so pleasant. The gloss is fabulous. The applicator is precise. I like how when you unscrew the cap, there is just a smidge of product on the tip ready to apply. Dr. Sam Ellis strikes me as the conscientious type, and I wonder if that was intentionally designed. Dr. Ellis if you keep this up, designing products like this, I'm afraid I will be a customer for LIFE!

It has BHT :( and other not so good ingredients for something that goes on the lips and might accidentally be ingested inevitably. Please make a better formula!

I have used many lip spf over the years but many either taste terrible, are over flavored or have a weird texture. I found none of those issues with this product. will repurchase.

Love the color. This definitely feels like a lip gloss - it doesn't seem to last very long after eating or drinking. I haven't spent a lot of time in the sun with it on yet but I like it so far after about two weeks of near-daily wear. As advertised - it has a nice mint flavor without the gross aftertaste of most sun blocks and it doesn't give me mouth sores (I have sensitive skin). It also doesn't stick to my hair like some glosses. I have wondered if it will be hard to squeeze out when the weather is colder - it already takes some strength - not a negative, but something to think about. I spend a fair amount of my free time in the outdoors and would be interested in a colored sunblock chapstick that I knew would last through wind, stronger weather and frequent water breaks.

I bought a few months ago. I might have given it a five-star if the tube wasn't so hard to squeeze! It is if the product had hardened up or the tube over a short period of time. There's no nasty flavor or taste that lingers. It appeared to protect my lips!

The color is perfect and it has a neutral taste and feel. I reach for it constantly. However, I wish it had more staying power...it is gone of my lips in mere minutes.
