Picnic Basket - Threshold™

The basket arrived without the lid,so it's going back. I was very unhappy with the condition of my deliveries and didn't order for months. I think I'm done with Target now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This picnic basket by Threshold is large, very lightweight and sturdy. It is big enough to accommodate full size dinner plates and utensils. The basket is deep enough to fit your food and storage containers. This is the perfect size to carry all of your food and your dinnerware for a picnic. The lid is not attached so you can use it to set food on if you are not at a picnic table. The basket looks really pretty and the handles are thin but attached really well so this is very easy to carry.

While it is large and very spacious, I was disappointed that the lid was not attached or more secure. I also thought that the handle material was very rough and may cause splinters. For this piece point I was expecting better quality. Not my favorite spring decor item from Target.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this basket to have some fun family picnics. I like that it’s just a neutral looking basket with no frills. Unfortunately, there are some issues with the quality in my opinion. The handles are not comfortable to hold, and they feel a bit fragile. The lid also just sets in place and there’s nothing to strap it down, so I could see it wobbling off easily in transit. It is nice and spacious on the inside, and I do love the wicker look.

The weaving seems to be high quality and the item indicates it is hand woven which is a nice touch. I love that you can use the top as a serving tray- although I will say it does not seem to be sealed so you might want to put down a napkin or parchment paper.

The Threshold picnic basket is great quality for the price and it holds a ton of things, perfect for a picnic away. My daughters love to have picnics and I know this one is going to hold up well. I love that the top comes off and you can use it as a tray.

The basket is perfect exactly what I was looking for, nice size and very well made, worth the money
