I had this basket for a few months until a few weeks ago when I noticed a smell coming from that area in my closet. I inspected the clothes in the basket, and they have this slight cat urine smell to them. I do not have a cat. Upon emptying the contents of the basket to wash, I noticed the wicker looks alittle soft and discolored. As I took a closer look, the smell hit me. It was coming from the basket and something was off with how it looked. It looked as if it was going bad?? My closet is not connected to the bathroom, so there's no humid air for this to have occurred. Im surprised about the quality of this item.
