I really like the 30 second timer going up to 2 minutes. The best feature is the "brushing too hard" signal. That is one of my issues, I brush too hard and have shredded my gums exposing the roots. This has helped me tremendously!

Took about a week to get used to using it as far as how much pressure to apply but my teeth have never felt cleaner. They feel as clean as they do when I get a cleaning done at the dentist. For sure worth the money. My only complaint is that the head of the toothbrush feels so small compared to a regular toothbrush but it doesn't seem to impact how well it actually works so its not a big deal.

Good when it runs, but startup is a problem.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a Philips sonic care for years and loved it. I don’t know what model I had, but this one (4100) is different. It feels less durable, but the thing that bothers me the most is its start up. It often doesn’t start up but just makes a small hum. I must press the on/off button several times before the motor seems to kick in. When it does finally start it is good. I don’t know if this is unique to my toothbrush or to the model. I am thinking of reaching out to Phillips while it is still under warranty to discuss.

Quiet, helpful timer, annoying pressure sensor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love the 4100. This is the second one I have had. I love that it is quiet, and I like the timer with the 30 sec markers, but I can't get used to the pressure sensor buzzing - it really bothers me. The charge lasts for a long time - great for travel. At end of life it is almost impossible to take apart to remove the battery. That absolutely is a design flaw and needs changing. I seriously cut up my hand trying to break down the old one to get to the battery for safe disposal. The charger should come with a plug not a USB connector.
