Description

Improve your gum health up to 100% better than a manual toothbrush with the ProtectiveClean 5100 rechargeable electric toothbrush. It has a pressure sensor that protects teeth and gums from excess brushing pressure. Brush heads wear out over time. Our BrushSync technology tracks how long you have been using your Optimal Gum Care brush head and how hard you have been brushing. Your electric toothbrush will beep to inform you when to replace your brush head. Customize your own brushing experience with your choice of 3 modes: Clean, White and Gum Care. The easy-start feature slowly increases the power of the brush as you get used to the Sonicare experience and the smartimer encourages a full 2 minutes brushing time as recommended by your dental professional. The battery charge indicator light lets you know when it is time recharge; 2 week battery life. The kit includes 1 ProtectiveClean 5100 handle, 1 Optimal Gum Care brush head, 1 charger, 1 travel case.

    1.5 Yr Review

I love this toothbrush so much and can tell the difference between this one and oral b for sure. My teeth feel super clean after using this and I love the modes on it. I’m so sad that I might have to buy another… after 1.5 years, my toothbrush makes a super loud noise and the brush head wiggles too much when it’s not supposed to. I change my toothbrush head out every 3 months so no it’s not that- it’s soo loud now and the metal part that holds the toothbrush is loose and there’s no way to tighten it to not be loose anymore. Other than that this was an amazing toothbrush

    Not worth the money!

It STOPPED working after 2 months. It won't charge and the stem that holds the brush is loose. I have taken great care of it and this is very frustrating.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always loved sonic electric toothbrushs but this last one I have had stoped working just as the warranty ended. I find that interesting as to how the quality of your products has deminished over the years. Maybe something to consider in the future.

Breaks around 7-8 months after purchase

I’ve now had three in a row where the toothbrush head stick part becomes loose which makes the toothbrush unusable. It happens between 7-8 months after purchasing it. Whatever they’re doing in the manufacturing process now is making them defective, it never used to do this before.

Great product. Variety of brush head designs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using a sonicare for many years, currently on my third or fourth one. Each one has been better than the last. The one I now have, recently purchased, replaced one of the same design that I dropped on a tile floor and stopped working. In the process of getting the new one, I finally learned there are different brush head designs. I am now using the gum health brush head, and it does a better job of getting to the gum line at the back of my teeth. So, breaking my last Sonicare turned out to be a blessing for me.

    A piece of junk

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the worst toothbrush. I purchased it on 10/22/25 44 days ago and it already stopped working it no longer is charging. I have have a Philips toothbrush for many years but this one is a piece of junk. Very disappointed in Philips I guess they don’t make them like they used to.
