Great cocoa mix!
I was hesitant to buy this after reading some of the reviews about there being no peppermint flavor. That isn't my experience. It's not strong, more subtle, but I can definitely smell and taste the peppermint. I make my cocoa with creamy oatmilk, so that may make a difference. I also like to add a shot of espresso. These packets are always a bit too sweet for me, and although this one isn't too bad, I still like the addition of the espresso. :-)

Delicious peppermint hot cocoa

It has that perfect amount of peppermint added to it with the hot cocoa that when mixed with warm milk just fills your soul with goodness and puts you in that holiday mood or warms you a little bit in the frigid winter cold. We made this and took it with us to go find Christmas lights around town and have really enjoyed this.

Too much peppermint for me
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Good and Gather Peppermint Hot Cocoa Mix Limited Edition to try out for the holidays. This box comes with eight packets of 7.9 ounce cocoa mix that you add to milk. The back of each pack have easy to read instructions, and are easy to rip open. Unfortunately, for me and my kids these have too much peppermint flavor in them for us. We could not finish our cups and will not be purchasing again.

I grabbed this peppermint hot cocoa mix by good and gather and was pleasantly surprised. My husband enjoyed it. He said it’s very light, but also he wouldn’t mind more peppermint flavor.

The peppermint is not overbearing like it can be in a lot of different food and drinks. It’s the perfect amount of flavoring. Our elf on a shelf brought this hot chocolate for our 3 year-old daughter. She really loved the hot chocolate too. I also think it could be giftable. I would definitely buy this again.

No flavor at all in this mix. I don’t even get a hint of peppermint, that was my selling point too. The aftertaste is horrible. Very disappointed. And yes, I made it with milk.
