A: Thank you for contacting us regarding our Swiss Miss Milk Chocolate with Marshmallow Cocoa product. We would like to inform you that in some of our products, you will see a reference to a specific coloring in the ingredient list. All of them are approved for use by the FDA. These colors are called "Certified Colors" because the FDA certifies the purity of each batch. They will always be listed on the label in the United States. The FDA held a press conference to announce plans to work with industry to phase out the use of all FD&C colors by the end of 2026. We are in the early stages of understanding FDA‘s next steps, as well as determining the planned course of industry engagement with the agency. Currently, Conagra’s product portfolio is 92% free from synthetic dyes, and work is already underway on the remaining 8% by the end of 2025. We continue to seek alternatives as consumer preferences evolve and new rules and regulations come into effect. Hope this information helps. Thanks again.

The La Croix of marshmallows.
There are 5 tiny marshmallows that dissolve when you stir the mix into the hot water or milk. It's been a few years since I've bought this, but there were definitely more marshmallows, and they didn't dissolve while stirring. Didn't realize terrifs hit dehydrated marshmallows so badly that Swiss Miss needs to ration them to this degree. Just discontinue the product at this point. I don't expect much from instant hot chocolate flavored water, but now I have to deal with an OCD 4 year old crying about the lack of marshmallows. Thank you so much for that. Lesson learned though. I will just take the extra few minutes to make hot cocoa from scratch

I add this to my coffee some mornings. Yes, the marshmallows are a joke but I've tried other coco mix to add to my coffee and they just upset my stomach. I don't care what this is made of it's perfect in a cup of coffee.

I love this hot chocolate. The only problem with it is the packets are difficult to open they are all connected to one another if you try to pull apart one of the packets trey burs apart spraying dry powder on you the counter and everywhere. I try to use scissors but sometimes I forget and have a mess again like today!

Swiss Miss is our favorite hot cocoa mix. The cocoa flavor is just right and doesn’t disappoint on a cold day. Unfortunately this product have very few marshmallows than usual. Moreover the target price was the best deal.
