Cheap, hard to assemble

Thin, splintering wood. Super unclear instructions. Holes don't align. The frame of the window isn't even glued, nailed, or stapled together. I would recommend getting an aquarium instead that is pretty easy to buy at the same price.

Good for dwarf hamsters

This is more suited for a dwarf hamster, small gerbil or mouse for sure. Not for a heavy chewer because it’s wood. My hamster already began to chew apart the front where the door opens. I like it but it wasn’t for us. Again it’s perfect for a small critter and not a heavy chewer. It also was very difficult to put together.

Nice cage!

This is a great cage for my hamster! Loved the space. Only thing I would suggest is better paper directions or a link to watch a video for assembly. I sat with the paper for 20 minutes and got nowhere. Luckily I was able to find a YouTube video that showed assembly in 2 minutes and it was very easy and quick with a drill!

Satisfied is what I expected.

I wanted a habitat not a cage. I believe cages are inhuman and very difficult to customize. I like the endless possibilities that this habitat can be arranged in. On the first floor, I added deep bedding for tunnels, rocks, sand baths, toys and a house. I also attached table legs to the structure. I plan on adding other things. It is wood and even thought I provide my hamster with plenty of chewable toys, I'm not sure if he will chew on the walls or interior of the habitat. I wish it had a tray for better cleaning. I'm happy with how it turned out. I suggest using a drill for faster assembling.

Hamster cannot get out!

This is the best hamster cage ever. Our hamster got out of every other cage we tried. We were getting discouraged because our hamster got out and got stuck in the walls of our house on multiple occassions. It is really difficult to get them out of the walls and sometimes they get hurt. This is the safest cage. She cant chew through it. It is easy to clean and she has lots of room to explore. Very happy with this product!

Good cage, came with damage tho.

The cage assembles very nicely and easily, the operable doors open and close with no problems. BUT when I was opening the packaging for the cage, the transparent plastic viewing windows had scratches all across the middle of both pieces. The scratches are pretty noticeable in yellow or bright light, but the picture doesn't show it easily. If the sellers can help with getting replacements id give them 5 stars.

Looks great, hard to assemble

My husband complained that the enclosure was difficult to assemble due to incomplete instructions. One piece was cracked so he used wood glue to fix it. He also applied glue to the entire enclosure to make sure that the pieces do not come apart. The final product looks great and we are satisfied.

You do have to make your own hole for water bottle but other than that 5 STARS!
