My fault for not seeing this is only 1 mit but this is another example of shrinkflation. Why not sell these in pairs. I really would not have bought this had I known that 2 mits cost nearly $40.

I assumed, wrongly, that this was a pair of mitts. I guess not. I went back and looked, and nowhere does it say quantity is 2. Anyway, for this same price you can get a different brand and get a pair. So I am a little disappointed. I have not yet used my one oven mitt, so I can't say how it functions, but I bought it to handle pulling out a dutch oven. Hoping this one mitt is enough to get me by on a 450' piece of cast iron!
