They are very sturdy bowls. I love them with the exception of them accumulating a black film/residue once washed and set in the cupboard until next use. And it won't go away with a simple wash. Have to put in the dishwasher to get rid of it but then comes back after sitting.

Ease of use
I have some health issues. Thesr are lightweight, stackable, dishwasher safe and handicap accessible. They're light enough to handle and the grips and pour spouts are so convenient. The bottom insures they don't slide when mixing. I have had a set for about 5 years and they enable me to still do baking without having help. just bought a set for a shower gift. Everyone at the party wanted a set and they were mainly young and healthy. Great for young and old. My 12 year old granddaughter loves using mine and wants a set for herself.

Not like they used to be!
I have had these oxo bowls for 10 years, they no longer come fully coated with the rubber grip bottom. Compared to the ones that have the entire bottom covered, they do NOT come close to being as good. This newer style loses in the counter because the bottom center is white plastic. To make them grip you basically have to hold the bowl at a tilt.

I have had a lot of bowls in my adult life and these are hands down the best yet!!! They’re white. I put spaghetti in the bowl to mix the sauce and the spaghetti together mixing…it was very red after wards…I was sure I had ruined it. Nope. Not even a little. I hand wash all dishes because I do not have a dishwasher. These came clean with no extra effort!!!!

The Best!!
I have had these bowls for 14 years!! I use them everyday. They still look brand new! The rubber bottoms and handles are a lifesaver. Easy to clean, I just put them in the dishwasher. These bowls are a must buy.

Good Bowls
Normally I wouldn't spend this much on mixing bowls (plastic ones at that) but everything at the online store named after a river was crap or sketchy (cracks, plastic came off into food, not reliable source, not sure if truly food safe). So I'm buying a brand name hoping I won't die from eating plastic and chemicals. Anyway, VERY sturdy bowls, like the rubber grip and bottoms. Like that they nest.

Slip resistant mixing bowls
I love the large 1 1/2, 3, and 5 quart mixing bowls. They are nothing I have had in the past.
The bowls are sturdy yet lightweight. They have a slip resistant bottom that does not move when mixing. The handle is also slip resistant to have a good grip.
The 3 bowls can be used for hand or electric mixing. They have wide lips for no spill pouring. I use the bowl to mix pancake batter, which easily pours on the griddle.
The bowls are very easy to clean and are dishwasher safe. One stores inside the other for easy storage
I highly recommend these bowls.
