    How to un-expand?

    I absolutely love the look and functionality of this table. It was so easy to expand but I don’t know how to close it. Is there anyone who can tell me? I’m sure it’s simple but I don’t want to force anything and possibly damage it.

    Good chairs, table is thin

    We owned an aluminum table and 4 chairs for 15 years. They are still in good shape. We wanted to have a larger table and 6 chairs. The chairs seem substantial, but the table is light weight and seems a bit flimsy. The chairs all have arms on them and two of barely fit on the long side of the table. The chairs swivel and bump into each other and the table legs. It seems that the table is too small for the chairs. I would bet that this set won’t last 15 years.

    Arrived scratched

    Retuned item, it arrived with scratches on it already. It didn’t feel very sturdy. Love the idea of it and size but the quality was not great.

    Love it!!

    Heavy duty table that converts easy to be a longer table. The leaf is hidden so you don't have to worry about storing it elsewhere.

    Just what we were looking for!

    The table is made well and seems like it is quality materials. So far, we haven't used the extension feature of this table, but we did try expanding it, which was very simple and convenient. Looking forward to using it at the next party.

    Pretty nice!

    The chairs were shipped super quickly, but the table took the 8-10 business days as stated. The chairs were tricky to put together according to my husband, and i took 1 star away for that. The table was much easier to assemble, and we like the extended leaf to make the table longer. We opted for the eight chairs, as opposed to six, to accommodate our larger gatherings. They don’t all quite fit under the table, so we plan on making a sitting corner with 2 of the chairs when they’re not in use. Be aware that there is no hole in the center of the table to accommodate an umbrella. Overall, we are very pleased with the patio set!

    Table was dented on the side.

    Had all the chairs put together and table almost finished when I realized there was a large dent in the side of the table from shipping. Box was torn but thought that the packaging had kept it from getting damaged. I had already cut up the boxes and it said had to be returned in original packaging so I'm stuck with a brand new table with a large dent.

    Peeling

    Very heavy/seems sturdy but SO defective

    The table itself is VERY heavy and very sturdy. It’s a pretty matte black and the look is great. BUT it came with scratches and scuffs and dents ALL OVER IT. One corner isn’t welded/melted all the way down and it is VERY sharp. It also doesn’t open or close smoothly and won’t latch to stay open. Super disappointed in the quality. I reached out to Target to try to get help and all I’ve been offered so far is a cumbersome return where I have to disassemble the product and somehow package it back into the destroyed box it came to me in. We will see if Target customer service will be more helpful when I call them but from my past experience with faulty products of theirs, all they do is shift blame to the manufacturer…who then shifts blame back to Target…and you go in circles til you give up. Very frustrated. Don’t waste this much money on this table that I’m sure will come dented/scuffed/scratched or some other less than perfect way. Adding just a small snippet of photos of the issues with mine.

    Keep doing it right Target

    Table is excellent quality. Very easy to assemble. Item was delivered EARLY. Item was delivered undamaged. Absolutely nothing to complain about and with all the frustration with post covid supply issues, TARGET is winning my loyalty to provide a product and service that is equal to the money paid.
