Best Value In A Drop Stitch Kayak!
Fantastic Kayak. Constructed very solidly and the Drop Stitch Floor at this price point is a game changer. It adds so much to the rigidity of the kayak which translates into a very solid and well handling paddle. I previously had a SeaEagle 330 and this GoPlus beats it easily. The Paddles are OK, not great. The seats are just barely adequate. All in all at this price point this is a fantastic value.

Fishing Kayak
I bought this kayak because I can't lift a heavy kayak. The two pieces are easy to load into my 2017 Toyota Highlander with the back seats down. My two dogs fit in the back (one is 35 lbs. and one is 75lbs.) I took the front cover off the kayak and the littler one sits up front and the big guy sits in the back. Kayak is easy to put together and pedal around smaller calm lakes. Very comfortable. Customer service from Reel Yaks is excellent.

Kayak greatness
Looks like a well built kayak. Love the colors! Have not had it in water yet, but pretty sure it will be great.

Probably great if you are under 200lbs
I'm 230lbs and while I managed to stand up in it, there was an inch of water rushed in through the pedal hole, so basically the gear stored in a nose ( I only had a rag there) got soaked. I also only had a small bag with me and 2 fishing rods so it wasn't like over loaded at all. Pedaling was ok, the paddle though is too short, I got another one to use that I bought separately for a different kayak. Give yourself a favor and do a check list: You are under 200lbs, you will buy another paddle, don't load stuff into the front, even if you have good balance and able to stand up, try not to.

Fantastic kayak for the price!
Absolutely fantastic kayak for the price. The quality and features are on par with most $1000+ kayaks. For the price this thing is an absolute steal. Very comfortable seat and the layout works well for fishing. The first time I took it out I caught a 30 inch gar and fought a couple massive tarpon in the Everglades. I paddled by several alligators longer than my kayak and felt safe and stable. I definitely trust this kayak although I wouldn't try to stand in this one as it's not quite wide enough to do that comfortably. Overall this Kayak is a fantastic value. If it can handle the Everglades then it can definitely handle anything the northern states can throw at it if you reside there.

Once equipped, should be a good fishing kayak
I purchased this kayak due to the modular design so I can store it in a shed. The kayak actually looks better in person than in the the pictures. It arrived quickly in a very large box. The only reason for 4 starts is the paddle was damaged pretty bad, the way the damage looks it occurred before it was put into the box. In addition the fin drive assembly was so tight the locking levers could not be turned by hand. Everything was included, but be warned, almost all the fasteners were not tight, some on the seat rails were ready to fall out. So the first step is to tighten everything. The directions are sufficient but not great. I had to do some slight modifications to the fin drive mounting blocks with a Dremel tool and I had to use stainless washers under each block as spacers to get the fin drive to properly drop into the blocks and be able to turn the locking levers by hand. One thing I can't figure out is how to install the fish finder transducer, will need to make some type of mount. Otherwise for the price it should be a good fishing kayak.

Tamarack Angler 100: My Peaceful Escape on the Water
Tamarack Angler 100 is my go-to for peaceful fishing days. It's stable, comfy, and easy to haul in and out of the water. Not the fastest, but it gets me where I need to be―with my line in the water and no stress.

Too heavy
The motor is well built and performs as expected. I use it with a 48 Li-ion shark-fin bike battery with a step-down converter to 12 v and it works well. The one star off is for the weight - for something that goes onto a kayak it is way too heavy. It is completely encased in metal and probably quite indestructable, but for a kayak application is an overkill. Also, a brushed motor in this day and age is really not something that should be made. Plenty of high quality brushless options out there to build out of. Basically it feels like its design is from the early 2000's - well behind the curve. I'm guessing all of this is driven by the cost.

Great motor for my Coracle!
Perfect motor for my Coracle! Speed 5 with the 36 pound thrust as about as fast as I would want to go. I went out for a couple hours and the motor worked perfectly for my experimental boat. The battery indicator lights indicated a full charge after a couple hours of fun, but the battery is taking some hours to recharge, so I don't know if the lights are accurate. I'm going to try it on my canoe next. I think the 55 pound thrust would be even better, but probably would drain the battery more. But the 36 is definitely perfect for the Coracle.

Glad I got it under 1k bucks!
Bought 2. One pedals are great. The other the pedals don't seem to want to roll smoothly. Seats are not as comfortable as I'd hoped. Will have to update them somehow. But gets the job done

Pickup Truck of Kayaks
I love this kayak more and more each time I take it out. You can do a 180 pretty easily with minimal effort that too can be bad as you're rear will try to drift around alot without the skeg down. It's tracks pretty straight for under 11' with the skeg down. Main benefit to me is all the large flat space on it. You can toss a milk crate behind the seat

Love this Colorful Kayak!
First impressions, the quality of this 100% made in the USA Kayak! Everything seems solid and well made. Assembly was fairly straightforward, I had some confusion with the rudder system but I think it will work itself out once I get it off the sawhorses and into to water. It was just hard to pull up. It's actually 9'9" not 10' so I don't need to purchase a permit, that's a bonus above and beyond the fact that it fits in my car, a 2017 Ford Edge. I selected the Radar because it is wider than the Raptor so it's more stable, but I don't think it would fit in a back seat… I had to put my back seats down and put it in the hatchback. The colors are so vibrant, I just love it. Definitely follow manufacturer recommendations and tighten all the screws before use. Delivery was quick, the driver left the box next to my garage door. I was able to move the box into the garage myself. So initial impressions, I'm very happy with my purchase and looking forward to getting my new Kayak on the water!!!

This had so much more power than I had expected, it's a very good quality product. When running there is little to no vibration at all. Would recommend

Great kayak,
This kayak is awesome, and I ordered it at 7pm, it was on my doorstep at 7am the next morning. Super happy. My wife got a 10' that can allow her to bring the dog, this one is a bit shorter. I'm 5-10 180 lbs and this one works for me.

Better then I could have imagined
Love it. Tracks well on the water, the fin drives and rudder are responsive...No more wide angle turns like my old kayak required. Very stable on the water. I can't say anything about stable while standing as I am unsteady enough on land to try it on a kayak. As kayaks, go . I prefer this to my other Van Hunks. Assembly? Easy. Fits nicely in my CRV with plenty of room to spare. i don't own a pickup and renting one or hoisting my kayaks was going to have to cease as the years go by. The available directions are easy to follow. The rudder assembly is offered with a cotter pin to keep on the kayak, I ordered "uxcell 4Pcs 1/8" x 1" Linch Pin with Ring, Stainless Steel Round Linch Pins for Boat Kayak Canoe, Trailer Trolley Trucks Mowers, Silver" linch pins as I feel better with this set up. The company is easy to contact via email for questions and support. Love their website as they list available replacement parts if wanted or needed. This is the first one we purchased. Loved it so much we now have two. UPDATE>>>I love it. Wife and I load them into our suvs and off we go. I can't say anything but get out on the water.

A solid, fun kayak for the price
If you don't mind the open-top design, and have the means to lug around a 10 foot kayak, this is a great option for the price. The sturdy design means you don't have to worry too much about rocks, and it doesn't struggle as much with waves or wind. It comes with attachments for fishing poles if that's your thing. The seat folds up and down to make transport a bit easier. Best used for more casual lake/ocean kayaking or fishing, as it doesn't feel designed for river rapids or larger waves.
