The actual unit is gorgeous but it’s a shame they have to be returned. Several reviews indicated this but I took a chance anyway. Not sure if it’s a reflection on Target or the maker.

A: Yes it works great for 18' inch dolls!! All their things even clothes work, only their shoes don't fit American girls from how I have tried!!

I bought it about 8 years ago for the American Girl Clothes,shoes boots and hats I bought extra hangers from American Girl & they fit perfectly. There is more room than it may appear. You can store things neatly, hang the little out fits and fold them. I think anyone would be well pleased with it. I am actually two more for Christmas. More dolls need more clothes. 💕Perfect purchase for AG 💕

This is such a beautiful closet and not crazy expensive like the American girl closet but it came damage because they shipped it in the box it came in, no extra padding: I wanted to return and replace but they’re all out of stock so I’m gonna have to try to fix it because my daughter loves the closet. Ours came in with a couple of cracks and the long drawer completely broken.

Damaged
As many other reviewers noted, mine also arrived damaged. Apparently Santa’s sleigh didn’t have a smooth ride. It is unusable and is being returned. It shipped in original packaging, which was damaged. Maybe Target should ship things in a safer manner? Not sure how I’m explaining this return to Santa to my daughter.

Did Santa's sleigh hit turbulance?
My daughter got this from Santa yesterday and it’s so damaged in the box that we can’t even take it out because pieces will fall out everywhere. The box was not damaged. What a sad gift and now I see it’s not even available to exchange. Very disappointing.

Would give this zero stars if I could. I should have trusted in all the other reviews around poor quality and arriving broken. We ordered two of these for our girls, both arrived broken in multiple spots. This brand is usually very sturdy and reliable - however not for this item. Do not waste your time! We ended up finding a cute acrylic doll closet on the big online A store for less than 1/3 of the price of this one - go check those out instead!

Came broken twice. Chrisrmas tomorrow.
I ordered 3 for my daughters for Christmas. All 3 were broken. I had to bring them to a shipping carrier to return then have them reshipped. Three more were shipped and all had what looked like minor damage that we figured we would try to repair. Come to find out that one was completely damaged may the bottom where we couldn’t see. Christmas is tomorrow and I have to repack and ship a damaged item myself. There must be a better way to pack these but no one seems to have figured it out.

Target Needs to figure out how to ship these dressers!
I ordered and received two damaged dressers. One was so bad that the door was coming off of the hinge from the damage from shipping. Target needs to figure out a better method to ship these dressers. These are such cute little dressers so it’s very disappointing!

I should’ve believed all the reviews with pictures. I decided to try my luck because my daughter would absolutely love this. Or should I say would’ve. The outer box came all beat up and despite the protective corner foam pieces, you could tell it was broken from the tear on the outside of the actual wardrobe box. I thought to myself: “that sucks! But maybe I’ll just tape the side.” However, after opening the box, I realized the entire structure side was broken! Not just a crack. This was supposed to be my daughter’s main Christmas gift and I am SO thankful that it’s still December 3rd 25’ so I still have time to search for another option. I hope nobody has to go through this when it’s closer to Christmas morning! Note: I was able to receive the package straight from the FedEx guy and he told me they just get the boxes beat up like that but still have to deliver it. I honestly think this is an issue with “Our generation” wear house, reselling previously returned, broken items. There’s no way they have an entire inventory of broken Wardrobes. Shame on Target for not discontinuing this product after such a big issue happening over and over again! Very frustrating and disrespectful to us costumers.
