Optimum Nutrition Superior Amino 2222 Tablets, Complete Essential Amino Acids, EAAs, 320 Count

Years ago when I was living in Turkey, I always liked this brand. Even though Optimum was way more expensive than other supplements, I still tried to buy it because it was my favorite. But unfortunately, not all of their products were available in Turkey. Now that I live in the U.S., I’m always an Optimum customer. After using it for so many years, I know they make the best and most effective sports supplements. — From a long-time loyal customer.

Do not buy this product. I have swallowed large pills easily all my life. This one is impossible to swallow without serious pain. Even when I break them in half, they still cause serious pain when swallowing. ON should be ashamed for continuing to sell this.

High Quality. Take two daily and before workouts.

These seem to be the only affordable tablet form EAAs left out there. I personally prefer tablets over powder so I can just pop them down post workout along with my protein shake and then I don't have to deal with an additional thing to drink like with the powder.

Great product. I have been using this for years. It is one of the most for consistency gains.

Almost died trying to swallow this thing... was stuck in my throat for 10mins, almost went to the E.R.

My wife and I only take these amino acid supplements. We feel their effectiveness and are satisfied.

This Amino is probably good for me. However the size of these tablets are gigantic. I broke one in half and tried to swallow it. It got stuck in my throat and I could feel it and keep drinking water for about 5 minutes before I could swallow it. I then put one in a class of water and it took hours to dissolve. The only way I can take them is to crush them to a fine powder and let the particles dissolve for a few hours and them drink it. At least they don't have much taste so they can be taken this way. I guess I couldn't recommend them as they are unless maybe for a horse or cow emino

I am the swallower of many daily vitamins and supplements. Never! I have I seen such a large pill. I literally almost choked trying to get it down. Sadly, only a life-saving surrum would warrant my desire to try a pill this size ever again.

This is the best amino supplement I have found but because of the size of the pill I have to cut it up into smaller pieces which is no problem at all to do.

I take these daily. Unable to do strenuous exercise do to an operation, I have found they make short periods of exercise more productive and seemed to contribute to my general well being. Although large, I found them easy to swallow.

I have been taking amino acids for muscle building for years. I tried Optimum Nutrition brand. This product contains high quantiites of essential aminos often not found in other brands. It is also very good value. 2 caps before training gives noticeable muscle pump and two caps after training noticeably improves recovery and muscle growth.

I am a strict vegetarian; although, complete protein comes from animal products. This does contain whey. My blood panel reading shows normal protein levels while I eat no meat or fish; and, eat no cheese or drink milk. An amino Acid pill(s) does the trick for me. I'm not a bodybuilder, just health conscious.

These pills are very large and hard to swallow. Perhaps if they were in liquid capsule form they would be easier to swallow. I would not recommend these for this reason only.

The pills in this bottle are gigantic! When I first got these, I swallowed 1 pill, and that frightened me, because I was worried I wasn't going to be able to get the pill down. Now just so you know, this review is not all negative, because I have some positive things to say. Before I go any further, I want so say there is another way to take these pills without just taking them straight. I believe they are compressed-powder pills, so they can be pulverized in a blender, or what I have done is a mortar and pestle, where I cut the pills into smaller pieces with a knife on a cutting board with a paper towel to assist stopping the pills turning into a missle across the table, and then crushing them. Also, if you dare, I have done a much simpler but more time-consuming method for diminishing the size of these pills. Put the pills in some water and let them soak for a while. I would not reccommend hot water, which would speed up the process, but also could possibly damage the aminos in the pills. Some things to consider is, the amino acid complex is in my opinion, a very comprehensive collection of amino acids. The price of these pills is excellent. Also these amino acids also come with enzymes, a nice suprise in my opinion. I suggest comparing the price and pill content to what you would get in the Optimum Nutrition brand and compare it with others. Final thoughts: If you want a lot of pills for the money that have a lot of amino acids,with enzymes, here is a brand to consider. If the thought of taking mega-pills does not interest you, but you do not mind crushing them or pulverizing them, here are your pills. However, if you do not like, or cannot take mega-pills, and you do not want to take the time to make them consumable, then try something else. I am personally happy with the cost-to-pill ratio, and I don't mind crushing or liquifying those pills on a regular basis enough to stop taking them.I hope that you choose what works for you!
