I have been using this exact protein for a year, and I’ve always loved the great taste and easy mixability. However, my latest order has been a major disappointment. The flavor no longer resembles chocolate, and the smell is completely different from what I’m used to. To me, it tastes like either a bad batch or an expired product. I'm really let down, especially since I ordered four packs.

With pea proteins I can usually feel the granules on my teeth, but this one was smoother than others such as Organe. I like the chocolate mixed with PB powder in my smoothies. Will buy again!

I’ve used several of Optimum Nutrition’s protein powders for years (especially their Gold Standard line), and overall they’re a smart pick for anyone looking to boost protein intake without overpaying.

The taste is fine. And it actually seems to mix pretty good in my shaker bottle. My problem with a lot of plant protein powder is that it seems extra powdery and therefore kind of messy going from the container to the mixer. I also use whey protein and don’t seem to have this problem with most whey protein.

I've tried both the chocolate and vanilla. Both were pretty tasty and not an awful texture at all for a plant-based protein powder. Ingredient list looks good and price similarly to others on the market. Overall, I like the product.

This Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Plant Protein Powder is a great way for vegans to get a daily dose of protein in a delicious beverage. You don’t have to be a vegan to enjoy this yummy protein powder, a lot of my friends are non vegan, but after I introduced them to it they were hooked just like I am. I usually mix mine in a shaker cup first thing in the morning and sip on it while getting ready for work!

This is the best tasting protein powder. It is effective and doesn't leave me feeling bloated or sick to my stomach like whey protein.

The Rich Chocolate Fudge flavor is super smooth and mixes easily without any clumps, which is a big deal. The package that is come in is very easy to open and is it resealable. Overall is an ok protein not the greatest for taste but it will work.

It was good i didn't get the chalky taste that some other protein powders has and it was tasty. It did fill me up as a meal replacement. The protein dissolved well in water and almond milk. I think it tastes fine with no bad after taste. It's better cold than with room temperature or tap water in my opinion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually go for “normal” protein, so this was a new experience. I do use Gold Standard Rich Vanilla or Chocolate Protein. The Rich Chocolate Fudge is so yummy! Yup still getting your 24 G of Protein but it’s Vegan! Definitely a must try.
