Packaging Is Not Hard!
I was scared after reading all of the reviews on the packaging. I was able to open up the canister in seconds. Tip: When you're pulling up on the lid, face it away from you so that you're pulling the opening up and towards your body. Pulling straight up, it won't budge.

I think vital proteins is the better collagen I have tried thus far. It works better for my skin. The new container i do not like though. I like the plastic omes, because it had a proper way to seal and prevent leaks.

Give us the original packaging back!
Nope. I’ll be changing to a different brand. Sad because I’ve used this for years. I was even willing to spend a bit more compared to other brands. Now they put it in a cheap cardboard container that has no cover to secure in place. If it falls over, the entire package will immediately spill out. Very poor decision on part of the company. You could have at least supplied a reusable plastic container with it, notifying customers of the upcoming change. This was just a disappointment.

I don't recommend this prodect
I've been taking this product for years. This year supposedly ingesting 30 grams of protein per day. Well, my blood was just tested for protein and I'm below normal. I think this is not a good enough product. I'm very healthy otherwise. Here, all these years, I've been thinking I am getting the protein I need, only to find out I'm not. Don't bother buying.

Hello Sherry! Our Collagen Peptides is not a complete protein because it lacks the essential amino acid tryptophan and because levels of other essential amino acids are low. Adding free tryptophan to collagen peptides does not make it a complete protein. Collagen peptides should be consumed as a supplement and not as a replacement of dietary protein. Horrible packaging
This was my first order of Vital Proteins and will be my last due to the horrendous packaging. I can see that I'm not the only one that feels this way.

Poor packaging!
Love the product; however, the packaging is horrible! I will probably look for another product vs fighting it every time I open a new one. I applaud not using plastic but this is ridiculously hard to open. I would give them a better rating but I can’t get past the packaging and how difficult it is to open.

Container too hard to open!
I’ve been taking this product for a while. It’s OK. But it has begun to be a major problem with the way they reconstructed their containers. I am 61 years old and I don’t know how anyone older can open these containers. I struggle with it. It’s too hard. You need to do better.

The packaging is bad!
I love the product and have used for a few years. The new packaging-- Please go back to the drawing board. THIS IS AWEFUL! I wasted half of the container just trying to open it! I tried to upload a picture but couldn't.

Terrible packaging
I convinced my 81 yr old mother to start addicting this to her daily routine. She likes the product but the new packaging is terrible and I was watching her try to use a knife to open it. We will have to change brands for her to make it accessible. It took me and my 24yr old daughter and a video to figure out how to open the package. Really not worth it

Love product and the new sustainable packaging!
I love this product. I've been using it for about 18 months now, and I notice brighter skin and stronger hair and nails. I also LOVE the new sustainable packaging. I feel so much better about my monthly order not having to throw away a thick plastic container every month. For all the negative reviews -- it's not that hard to open, people. Just follow the very simple instructions on the container.

Inedible
I really like the regular formulation of vital proteins so I thought the addition of hyaluronic acid and vitamin c would make it that much better. Geez was I wrong. This stuff is horrible and inedible. I'm not sure why anyone thought it was a good idea to release this product.

Lid won't release!!
The "new" packaging with the lid that folds back, etc. was nearly impossible to get open.....it is not user friendly -- I had to take a sharp knife and poke at it several times to finally get the lid to release. That, along with no scoop still? Going to go back to another product.

New packaging is not user friendly.
New packaging is super hard to open and not user friendly. The easy peasy open video tutorial is not how it works. I destroyed the lid opening the container. A bag with a zip top would sure be more friendly.
