(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) the rug looks nice and is thick and plush, the wool isn't very soft, it's a little scratchy, but the worst part is how much it sheds, it feels like we have a shedding dog in our house because it gets all over your clothes, furniture and ***** up and gets spread around your house. we vacuum it 2-3 times a day, have had it for a few weeks now and still sheds constantly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although the rug is pretty, the practicality of this material being a rug is not so great. It is just like a wool sweater as you wear it it piles, this will not stop, shedding, no matter how many times I vacuum, and don’t even think to come near it with any black garments on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This rug is beautiful in my bedroom. The color is exactly what I was looking for. My home is decorated in a coastal style with soft neutral colors and this rug fits right in. Very happy with it.

The rug is not particularly soft, and the braided texture is so pronounced and bumpy that it's even a little uncomfortable to walk on. This is for a bedroom and mostly under furniture, so that's okay, but I'm a little disappointed that it doesn't feel cozy underfoot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This rug is so pretty, the cream color and braided pattern is everything. BUT, i’m giving it 3 stars because it sheds SO much!! The instructions advise you not to vacuum with a beater brush, but you definitely have to vacuum it, otherwise, you walk onto the rug with black socks, and walk off the rug covered in white fibers. I would not put this rug in a nursery, or anywhere a child would crawl. They’ll get too much wool fuzz in their mouth. Thankfully, this rug is in my office. Won’t be spending too much time on the floor in there.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really want to love this rug. It’s beautiful, well made, high quality and fit the space perfectly. But there’s one problem, within the fiber of the weave there are tiny little pieces of sticks or some sort of natural material. Walking barefoot on the rug you can feel them all the time. I tried to remove them but there are so many it just seems impossible. Must be related to the manufacturing process or the material that goes into the rug. Pretty disappointing for such an expensive rug.

I think Rugs USA may be selling multiple SKUs under this name, because my experience does AT ALL not match the several great reviews. This rug has shed so much, even after a thorough vacuum, my floors, counters, etc. will have fibers all over them the next morning. The texture of the rug itself feels more like jute than soft wool - it is hard under my feet and uncomfortable to walk on (think of walking on thick jute that massages your pressure points - fine, but don’t want that on my rug that was advertised as the “softest”). I think I just got unlucky and got a bad version of this rug, but I am so frustrated with it and how much money it cost me. Do not buy.

Beautiful at first but after a few days the wool is gray, tangled and looks worn. I would love a refund to buy any other type of rug. Would not recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I envisioned a soft, chunky sweater rug for my laundry room and this rug is perfect! It’s soft to walk on and looks beautiful. I don’t think I would use in a high traffic area but for the laundry room it’s perfect.
