  • A: Hi, thanks for reaching out about Nintendo Switch Joy-Con L/R - Pastel Purple/Pastel Green When using original Joy-Cons (from Switch 1) on the Nintendo Switch 2, you can still play almost all your favorite games wirelessly, but you will lose several physical and system-level features due to the hardware redesign. 1. No Handheld Mode (Physical Attachment) - You cannot physically attach original Joy-Cons to the Switch 2 tablet. 2. No Charging on the Console - Because the original Joy-Cons cannot slide into the Switch 2, they cannot draw power from it. 3. Missing System Buttons & Features: -No "C" Button (GameChat): The Switch 2's right Joy-Con has a new "C" button used for native system-level voice and video chat. Original Joy-Cons do not have this, so you'll have to use on-screen menus for these features. -No Mouse Mode: The Joy-Con 2 has an optical sensor on the bottom that allows it to be used as a mouse on a flat surface. Original Joy-Cons do not have this sensor. -No "Wake" Support: Many users have reported that original Joy-Cons cannot wake the Switch 2 from sleep mode wirelessly; you often have to press the power button on the console itself first. Disappointed delivery

Item purchased as a gift so I won't know about the product until Christmas. Target services were great as usual. Delivery by FedEx delivery was horrible. Shipping box was severly smashed enough to crush the product box inside. Thankfully product appears undamaged.

Handy dandy and sweet

Love the new colors and I did decide to buy these for my animal crossing themed switch. I most play that switch in the dock, with a wired or Bluetooth controller, for fear of breaking or creating drift issues in the limited edition joycons. However, now I feel free to play that switch handheld. I most play on the switch lite and it does have some drift to the left thumbstick. Right after buying these, my husband broke a joycon on HIS switch. So I was able to use these on his until Nintendo repaired for us. Btw that process was easy, Nintendo did replace the joycon free of charge thru their website. Ive had 0 issues with these pairing and working so I really enjoy them and plan to use them. Great to have an extra pair handy, especially if you don't have the other wired controllers for the dock.
