A: The Aeroccino 4 model is dishwasher safe. All previous models should be washed by hand. If washing Aeroccino 4 in the dishwasher, do not place directly onto a dishwasher pin to avoid scratching.

A: To avoid overflow, only fill to the minimum line if frothing the milk with the attached silver coil. If just heating the milk (no coil), the maximum line can be used.

Stopped working (x2), rarely used each.
I had two of these (came with my vertuo machines), I rarely used each and they both broke (were working fine then stopped). Nespresso coffee machines are good but I guess they need to work on their milk frothers.

Not good!!
I’m very disappointed that mines stop working and there is no replacement,unless I purchase another machine,now I guess I see why people are getting frustrated with this product,they are actually getting rid of there machine online.

Great frothed cream
I enjoy making cortado with steamed/frothed heavy cream on my regular espresso machine. I bought this frother to go with my Pixie and Inissia machines for the office and road trips. My wife and I love the resulting frothed heavy cream with one button push and a short wait. I'm likely to buy another in near future as my wife has taken a liking to my "office" frother for home use. Great product!

We recommend rinsing your Aeroccino under cold water after each use and washing under warm water and using a non-abrasive sponge/towel, clean the frother itself, to prevent milk build-up. We recommend removing the gasket from around the lid, and soaking the gasket, lid, and whisk in some warm non-abrasive soapy water for about thirty to forty-five minutes, at least every three days (depending on usage) more if you desire. Please be sure and do not submerge the Frother. You can also soak the frother with just warm water and non-abrasive soap. Great little milk frother (for free, too)!
So I just rescued one of these out of my apt. complex dumpster. Still in pristine condition with its base, whisk and lid! Cleaned it up (milk froth spills where it clearly overflowed), downloaded and read the manual, and gave it a shot! Wow! Great froth!! Tried it both ways. Hot with froth and just hot milk with the correct whisks. Works like a charm and gets the milk nice and hot! Probably came from one of those one star reviews... but reading the manual seems to do the trick! Glad to add it to my coffee tool repertoire. Will go very well with my Moka pot coffee!

Great frother, not so great heater
Nice frother but execution on adequate temperature is lacking. Nothing like having to microwave your cup after adding your milk/froth. Temp is around 150 degrees, a bit short of a nice warm cup of java.

I use mine daily since they came out with them…
Ive had my Aeroccino 3 since they came out and use it daily at least once, sometimes multiple times a day (I’m a heavy latte drinker, what can I say!) I have NEVER had any issues with milk overflowing, leaking, ‘bursting’ etc. I think these bad reviews are because of user error not machine error. If you follow the machine fill guide, you won’t have ANY issues. I have used whole milk, almond milk, goat milk, coconut milk, and even added a slash of whipping cream once or twice. I almost always add vanilla extract (or another flavor) and very often add just enough simple syrup to cover a thin layer across the bottom of the machine.

Did not over fill but it overflows
I just bought the aeroccino 3 in a bundle with my nespresso mini partnered with Breville. I was excited to finally have an espresso machine that works and the frother was an extra bonus. I'm sorry to say that on the first try after filling the frother midway between minimum and maximum it popped the top up and when I tried to secure it the froth overflowed onto the sides of the frother and the electric heating plate and my counter. I had heard that it is just a glorified milk heater but didn't want to believe it. I guess they were right. It did froth the milk really well, likely not good enough for any latte art if thsts what you're looking for. Kind of disappointed that there's no way to guard against this... seems like an easy fix.
