Theres a reason Motorola Pays for good reviews
Absolutely terrible connection with the physical monitor. Not reliable. The app was more useful. The angle of the mouth is terrible.

I am sorry that you are having issues with your PIP1610-2HDCONNECT Can you please try a system reset: When problems such as lost connection, no sound and no video cannot be fixed based on the above guides, you can try to do a system reset. Note that after system reset, you will need to do the pairing to the app and the parent unit again. system reset for the parent unit: on the side of the parent unit and on the top of the DC socket, there is a small hole. Use a small pin to insert and press into it. The parent unit will go through system reset. If the Parent Unit is off, please turn it back on. Go to the Menu button and press it. Arrow over to camera, press the + button to add the camera back. It should prompt you to press the pair button on your camera. Pair your camera to the Parent Unit Can you please reach out to us so we can help you further? You can reach us by phone at: 1-800-763-2207. Very Terrible Product
I cannot stress enough how much I hate this product. It sounds like it would be amazing, but it has one fatal flaw - the monitor device struggles to connect to the cameras - every time you turn it on. It doesn't matter how close you are to the camera - it will not find it. Every nap and bedtime, I spend at least 10 minutes turning the monitor off, resetting the cameras, moving the monitor closer to the camera, and waiting for it to find the connection. Sometimes, I just give up and hope nothing terrible happens to my babies because I cannot see or hear them. The app isn't any better. Of all the baby products I have purchased in the last three years, this would have to be the worst. The amount of angst and frustration it has caused is ridiculous. This sounds really dramatic, but I honestly cannot stress enough that you should not buy this monitor.

Sooo in LOVE
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so in love with these baby monitors, and will forever buy these kinds of products from Motorola! Not only does it have amazing picture, but you can talk back and forth with your children from all over the house. You can also hear all audio, and can rest easy knowing you can see and hear your children at all times. I would recommend this to any parent, new or experienced.

Wow, by far my favorite baby monitor to date!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay so to start off, I have four children, ages 11 months, 3 years, 6 years and 9 years old. That being said, I've had a bunch of different baby monitors in the past (ie/ hello baby, safety first, YI, etc). First off, I love how it comes with two different cameras. As a parent of multiple children, this is extremely helpful that you don't have to buy multiple cameras. It also is nice to just be able to have another camera for another location (ie/ playroom). The camera quality is fantastic and it is so nice to be able to sync to your cell phone. However, I think my favorite thing about this is that there is ALSO a handset so you don't have to use your cell phone as the monitor! That is something that I have had a hard time finding where I could be on my phone (or another child can) and I can still have an old school monitor to watch the baby! I also love how you can play lullabies on this so you don't need to have an extra sound machine in the child/babies room. The recording option has also been fantastic for recording cute memories:-). All in al, would definitely recommend!

Great concept and design but terrible app
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this monitor for free to do my honest review. It's honestly a great monitor when it comes to connecting the cameras to the main monitor. The image is clear as day. I can take it off the charger and carry it with me throughout the house. However, when it comes to the added "bonuses" it gets really complicated. The app on the phone is glitchy and the cameras disconnects often. It will also freeze and take a while for it to come back up. I would completely recommend this for a friend, but I would suggest they stay away from trying to connect to the app. It doesn't make me feel as safe as just having the monitor. If they could fix that it would be great. The notifications is awesome because even if it's freezing I can go check on him. It comes programmed with songs and stories that will play over the cameras.

The cutest camera I've ever seen!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Motorola recently sent me the Motorola PIP1610-2 HD CONNECT to try out and have been using it for a while. In comparison to other similar products I've tried, it holds its own quite well. The picture quality is decent, but not the best I've seen in this category. One of the benefits of owning this product is its ease of setup and use. The user interface is intuitive, making it accessible for those who might not be tech-savvy. The wireless connectivity is also a plus, allowing for flexibility in placement. I'm reasonably satisfied with this product, and I might consider buying it again. While there are other options in the market with slightly better picture quality, the overall user experience and affordability make this a compelling choice. I would definitely recommend the Motorola PIP1610-2 HD CONNECT to friends or family who are looking for a budget-friendly streaming device with decent performance and user-friendly features. It's a good choice for casual users, and the minor picture quality trade-off is well worth the cost savings.

Would buy again
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a daycare in my home and I have loved having two cameras for 2 different rooms and to be able to view the cameras in one place on the baby monitor or on the app. It has been very convenient for me to use! The night vision can be tricky when it's pretty dark but for daycare I mostly use the cameras during the day so this isn't a huge problem for me. Love the tilting and zoom options as well! Would recommend!

I might buy or recommend to a friend
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first I loved this camera. I like that the monitor is larger so that when I'm sleeping and wake up to view both children they are easy to see. It's nice to be able to view all around the room and the quality of the image is great. The reason why I'm giving it 4 stars is the camera is constantly disconnecting from the monitor however can view from my phone. It makes an extremely loud beeping noise when it doesn't connect which wakes up my newborn next to me and honestly is just annoying.

Remote adjustable positioning
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This camera was super easy to set up. I didn't even need to connect it to wifi. If you decide to download the app, that is when you would connect it to your wifi network. The monitor has rechargeable battery so you can take it with you to any room to watch your kids. Functions on the monitor is fairly easy to understand and use. It would be better if it was touchscreen. You can see both cameras at once or choose one to view. The video quality on the cameras is pretty good. These cameras also have night vision which is a huge plus. Another great quality about this camera is your ability to use the monitor to control and move the camera remotely around so you see different areas of the room and zoom in if you need to. You can both listen and talk with this camera.

Piece of mind for parents
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Motorola PIP1610-2 HD CONNECT for free in return for my honest review of the product, but let me start by saying that I would 100% buy this product on my own. The system boasts the following, which are all true, useful, and quality features: 5.0" IPS color display with HD 1280 x 720px resolution 2.4 GHz FHSS Wireless technology for in-home viewing 2,800 mAh rechargeable battery with 6 hours playtime Sound level indicator Room temperature monitoring with alert Low battery alert Out of range alert Here is my review: I have 4 children with my youngest just transitioning into their own sleep space at night and for nap times. This baby camera system is amazing. The Motorola PIP1610-2 HD CONNECT cones with two cameras and a base monitor. The two cameras can be used simultaneously and even in completely different areas of your home. The picture quality is awesome and even offers night vision for darkness. The cameras can play lullabies, mini stories, or any sound you want to pre-record. You can set sensitivity alerts for noise and motion, which you will be alerted to depending on your settings. The camera also have a remote pan, tilt and zoom feature that allows you to scan the area with a quick adjustment of the screen. There is also an app that accompanies the system so you can use it even when away from home.

Best nursery cam that's on the market hands down
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this product and will continue to use this until it has had enough of me. I mean this is by far the best experience I've ever had with a camera system. I give it infinite stars. I'm in the process of mounting the two cameras right now so pics/video will be following my review. Thanks BzzAgent for the wonderful experience I really appreciate it.

I would highly recommend
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very user friendly and a breeze to set up. I was easily able to get everything connected to Wi-Fi and my phone. Both audio and video quality are excellent. Having the split screen option is very handy when having two cameras. The monitor is a decent size and not too bulky to carry around. I love that you are able to speak to baby. Pan, tilt, lullabies, books, and temperature monitoring are added bonuses. My only complaint would be the slight lagging and blurry night vision. Pretty Good Monitor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you Motorola for this free baby monitor! I really like how it comes with the monitor but you can also set the app on your phone. We cosleep and contact nap but now that he's getting older we want to transition to his crib for naps. I really liked the whole set up, great quality, great features but once he started crying it didn't notify me which stressed me out, though I was in the room right next to him and could hear him through the walls. I will continue to use it because it is perfect for what I need at the moment and maybe the settings weren't correct because everything else about it is great!!

DEF BUYING THIS FOR CHRISTMAS GIFT!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to Motorola for the free product! I love this thing. First of all, I thought it would only work while you're inside the house with wifi but you can watch from anywhere. My favorite feature is how easy it is to connect to your phone. You can pair more than one phone, just download the app and it will guide you step by step. The night vision is super helpful when my little one wakes up at night. You can control if you want to be notified by motion or sounds or both! I have to mention that one of the coolest features is that it plays lullabies and story books. There's a timer for the songs and the books so you don't have to worry about turning it off. It comes with 2 cameras which is great , I was able to put one in the living room and in his bedroom. You can move and control the cameras from your phone, or the home monitor AND you can talk through it. You're also able to take screenshots or record videos but you have to go on the app to click on the camera button to do so. I wish it was recording the whole time so I could go back and watch the video when accidents happen. Besides that, I love it and I will definitely be buying one more for my friend. Give it a try! its great.

I would definitely suggest someone to buy this product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use it in my living room and kitchen to watch my kids. It's hard enough being a parent and having to do so many chores and things that go on in life. I love how easy this makes it to shower, Use the bathroom, do laundry or watch a movie in another room. I love how it allows you to speak through the cameras if you need to say something to your child and it has nursery rhymes for bedtime and naptime. I love that it makes it easy to see exactly where my kids are by adjusting the cameras I can move the angle and it has wall mounts for it. Only thing I dislike is that the came as both have to plug in a wall, so I have to make sure their out of reach from my kids and that they are close enough to a outlet. I do like that the screen charges easily while being plugged into the wall.

HORRENDOUS Design and UI
The only reason we purchased this was because we like the flexibility of being able to view the monitor on an app AND from a home unit, which is the only nice thing I have to say about the monitor. Here is where it falls short: 1. App UI. I’m a Digital Product Owner by profession. My literal day job is to put functional design into action. The app (which Motorola outsources) is horrible for user interface. For instance: Have fun figuring out how to change wifi if you move it to another place. It’s as straightforward as Lombard Street in San Francisco. In addition to that, you can’t even turn the camera on or off via the app. 2. Home Unit. Maybe it’s Motorola paying homage to their early “brick” cell phone design, but the home unit is MASSIVE (and I don’t mean the screen itself). It is accompanied by a large fixed stand in the back, so gone are the days of being able to pocket it if you’d like. It also has these indicator lights. All well and good if you don’t want the sound on but want to see if your bundle of joy is making noise (and the severity of it). However from a “I want to sleep standpoint”, this falls massively short. My kid, like many others, sleeps with a sound machine. You know what makes the sound indicator bar go beserk? A sound machine. What you’re then left with is a light bright enough that you feel like you’re in that episode of Seinfeld where Kramer’s apartment is bathed in the red light. What would be an easy fix? Have the capability to turn off the light. You know what this is missing? The ability to do so! Enjoy the chic look of tape covering those. The deviation between volume levels leaves much to be desired as well. Whereas it can get nicely loud, you also get left with relatively loud lowest level or volume off. This could typically be remediated by blocking the speaker, perhaps by laying it down. Not with this bad boy though! That fixed kickstand takes that off the table unless you want it hanging partially off of an edge of whatever surface you have it on. Lastly on this front is the camera disconnect indication. This lets you know that the camera has disconnected. For safety reasons I enjoy the thoughtfulness of this. What I do not enjoy is that you seemingly can’t turn it off until you completely turn off the home unit itself or rectify the issue. Motorola: Add an “I acknowledge” option to allow the user to notice the issue, but then turn off while they rectify the problem (without having to turn off the home unit completely which could be functionally monitoring the second camera). 3. The Cameras themselves. They look “cute” and perfectly in place in a kids room. However the angle of motion for the up/down tilt is too limited. If you’re like me, and like the idea of maximizing the actual monitoring of your kids’ cribs you’d put the monitor above the crib. If you’re also like me, you probably have the crib against the wall (I’m sure most reading this are on board with both of these radical ideas). Due to the design of this camera, the mount option is that it is affixed to a bracket that it “sits” on. Combining the limited downward angle of the bracket, and the limited range of motion for the unit to face downward, you’re left with a blind spot on the crib.

If your life something in your life to make you mad, this monitor is for you
This is seriously the worst baby monitor I have ever used. Every single day since I have bought it, it’s been a new glitch. One of the cameras won’t even pair to the monitor device at all anymore and I can only view it on my phone. Sometimes the cameras will randomly start rotating in one direction and you can’t get it to stop. Sometimes the buttons don’t work, or it will randomly not let you select a certain setting. I have used all types of monitors and nothing has as terrible of connectivity issues as this monitor. I have to turn it on and off a minimum of 10 times to get it to connect. And now the monitor is making a horrible sound, if I rotate the camera a little bit, it will go back to normal sound for about 15 seconds, then go back to making the horrible sound. It’s seriously so bad with how often and weird/random glitches are that it’s almost like someone deliberately did this to mess with people. It also has the worst delay. If my baby makes a sound sometimes it won’t sound on the monitor until 30 seconds later. Never in my life experienced anything suck so much. Camera quality and sound are good, so if this camera/monitor system actually worked how it’s supposed to then I it would be good. If I can find a way to get my money back I will definitely be doing that. My $40 monitor is 100x better than this one.

Constantly disconnects
At first I loved this camera. I like that the monitor is larger so that when I’m sleeping and wake up to view both children they are easy to see. It’s nice to be able to view all around the room and the quality of the image is great. The reason why I’m giving it 3 stars is the camera is constantly disconnecting from the monitor however can view from my phone. It makes an extremely loud beeping noise when it doesn’t connect which wakes up my newborn next to me and honestly is just annoying. So if it would just stay connected to the monitor it would be an amazing camera.

I am sorry that you are having issues with your PIP1610-2HDCONNECT. Can you please reset your devices: Disconnect both the parent and baby (camera) units from the power outlet. Wait for about 15 seconds and reconnect them. Allow up to one minute for the parent and baby (camera) units to synchronize. You can also delete the camera from the parent unit and add it back on: - press the Menu button and navigate to the camera symbol - go to Delete (x) and select the camera number you wish to remove; confirm Adding the camera works in a similar way, except you go to Add (+), select an open slot, and then press Pair on the camera If this doesn't work, can you please reach out to us so we can help you further?
