I love this product and I hope they never stop making it. I have extremely thick high porosity curls and I have finally found the routine that makes them look and feel great. I wash with the doux clarifying shampoo, follow with amika hydro rush conditioner, then in very small sections on dripping wet hair, I put a thin layer of Miss Jessie’s pillow soft from root s to ends, then a very thin layer of The Doux Mousse Def. I make one pass with a bounce curl style brush, and diffuse it dry. My curls come out soft, defined, bouncy, and shiny. I could leave out the mousse, but my hair is very prone to frizzing and I feel like it helps that. The smell of this product is VERY strong and reminiscent of fabric softener, so if you’re sensitive to scents this isn’t for you. I love the smell and get many compliments. As the week goes on, my curls do get frizzier and fuller but they still look great all the way up to wash day. Target does sell sample size packs of this so give it a try!

I love this product. I use it in my daughter’s hair and it leaves her curls so soft and defined. Plus it smells so good.

idk what people are talking about with the smell... someone said 'old church lady perfume' um no it smells amazing like fresh clean laundry or something and as far as how well it works for the curls i give it 10000/10 if you don't have curly hair don't blame this product for not making your hair curlier its your own fault if you don't have tight curls the proof is in the pudding babe i have 3a curls

Did nothing to enhance my curls and the scent is too strong and stinky, and lingers for too long

I have 2c/3a curls and this is a permanent staple to my routine. idk why this has so many bad reviews but it works on my hair 🤷‍♀️ the hold isn't too strong which i like and it keeps my curls fluffy but still defined. I apply this after washing and before diffusing my hair. the smell isn't bad in my opinion, it smells like fresh laundry and ive gotten many compliments about it. I started using this 3 years ago and I wanted to change to something cheaper but I have yet to find anything that works just as well so I'm sticking to this product! If you have similar curl type and want a fluffy look (this isn't going to give a strong hold so don't buy this expecting your curls to not move) then this is worth trying out. if you dont like a laundry/powdery smell, you also won't like this.

This product does absolutely nothing to enhance or form curls. It’s like putting lotion on your hair and expecting curls to appear. The scent is amazing, but that’s really all it offers. It works more like a hair perfume than a curl product. If you already have perfectly defined curls and just want them to smell great, this might work for you. However, be warned: it also leaves hair looking dull.

When I don't want stiff or crunchy curls this is my go-to. I love it and my adult daughter loves it. It makes our curls defined yet soft. Touchable.

I was so excited to try this, it has great reviews! I tried the small sample size and I’m happy I did because I HATED this product! The smell was horrible, reminded me of an old church lady perfume. The hold was not there and I could feel the product on my hair after it dried kind of like a film. Didn’t do anything for my curls, was actually one of my worst wash days. I couldn’t wait to wash it out!

First of all, this product smells sooooooo good. I have very porous 2c-3a hair. I rake this product through then brush style and use a little bit of Not Your Mother's medium hold gel on top. I've noticed my curls don't last as long when I use this cream alone, which is why I add the gel. It is the absolute best combination!! Not greasy or heavy at all, just super soft and lasts 3-4 days.

The smell of this product is too strong. My hair smells like it has dryer sheet concentrate in it. I want to get back in the shower and wash it out of my hair.

This left my hair feeling yucky and once dried, not smooth or healthy feel. Felt like I came out of the pool without a wash. Will not use again!!.

Clogged pores/ large red bumps on face & neck

Does what it says! I LOVE this brand. Fits the description. I have naturally curly hair. When I use this cream my curls feel more bouncy and fluffy.

Oh yeah, makes my hair extremely soft. Love the look of my waves after applying.
