A: Hello, thank you for your question. We don't have data of the effectiveness of the sheets overlapping. Overlapping the sheets may also prevent good adhesion. You could place two of the sheets next to each other to properly cover the area.

A: Hi scarsremindme, Hi, thank you for your question about Mederma Silicone Scar Sheets - S - 4ct. The sheets can be reused for up to 21 days, each use being at least 12 hours, but not more than 23 hours. It can be washed with water and a neutral soap. Generally, neutrality can be found in mild dish soaps such as Dawn Dish Soap. Look for dish soaps that state, “mild” or “gentle” on the label.

A: Hi Skm, Hi, thank you for your question about Mederma Silicone Scar Sheets - S - 4ct. Yes, the sheet can be cut. Our recommendation is to leave at least 1 inch beyond the edge of each side of your scar. Over time, wear and tear may cause the edges of the sheet to lose adhesion so you want to leave enough room to (a) ensure proper adhesion beyond the scar, and (b) be able to slightly trim the worn edges of the sheet off over time throughout the use of the scar sheet.

Mederma Silicone Scar Sheets Small
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a complimentary 4-count box of the Mederma Silicone Scar Sheets from Influenster for my honest review. I received the 1.4 x 3” silicone patches. They were easy to apply & stayed on my skin the entire night while I slept. I was impressed with the durability & that there was no residue when removed. The patches seemed to calm the inflammation of my skin but not as much as I’d have liked. Also, the patches can be washed & reused.

Didn’t work well for me:(
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did not notice any major difference when wearing this silicone scar sheet. I mainly wore it throughout the night because that was the best time that I could use it and it easily would come off throughout the night sometimes. The product was very easy to apply and it felt nice on the skin.

Improvement
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using these silicone scar sheets for a couple of weeks, I did notice a little bit of fading and smoothing of the scar that I had applied them to. I would be curious to see what a longer-term result would look like. I found them pretty easy to use, and I like that. They kept their adhesive even after many removals and re-applications. I received this item for free in exchange for my honest review.

Impressed, worked better than I imagined.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was surprised that it seemed to lighten up my scar. The scar sheet felt fine on my skin. It was easy to take off and put back on after my shower. No sticky residue left on my skin when I peeled it off. I’m impressed, it definitely worked better than I thought it was going to. Very easy to use. Definitely would recommend to people wanting to lighten up their scars.

Great way to reduce scarring!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These scar sheets are really fantastic! I was previously using the Maderma ointment and now I’ve switched over to these sheets for the most part. They have significantly lightened the appearance of my scars and using them is really easy. I usually use them overnight, but I follow the directions closely on the packaging. There is no scent and application and removal is super easy and smooth.

Noticeable Scar Improvement & Easy to Use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had a breast augmentation and decided to use the Mederma silicone sheets to help with scarring. I started using them on November 22 and wore them daily as much as possible, only removing them for workouts. One set of sheets lasted me until December 2 before switching to the second set, which I continued wearing until December 11. I truly believe these work. My scars are noticeably less red and purple and look like they’re healing more smoothly overall. The sheets were easy to wear, comfortable, and fit seamlessly into my routine. I’ll definitely be purchasing these again and would recommend them to anyone looking to improve the appearance of scars.

Not impressed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was not impressed by this product. After using I did not see any change to my scar. I’m not sure how long one should be continuously be using these but I did not feel the need to repurchase. The bandages were comfortable and flexible but I do not see any benefit from them. I would not purchase these in the future.

Easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to try these scar patches. I'm clumsy and i scar easily. My husband and i both used the patches. He had better results, which isn't surprising simce he tends to heal faster and used the patches more consistently. His scar is not entirely gone, but definitely mostly faded and not nearly as noticeable as before. My scar still looks much the same as before. It started to get less vividly red, but as soon i stopped wearing the patches it reverted to its original state. The patches wwre easy to use and didn't irritate my skin.

Worth it.

I was able to take multiple showers with them and they still were securely attached to my scars. They never irritated my skin and did not leave any nasty sticky residue. I really feel like these have help fade my burn scar. I will be continuing to use them until you can no longer see the scar!

Not as sticky as expected
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The silicone scar sheet feels very soft and moisturizing for a scar. Unfortunately, the packaging says one sheet may stay on for up for 21 days however mine lasted 1. I might try again for a scar in an area that doesn’t get much movement (I tried the ankle), but I don’t see it being sticky enough to stay on for three weeks. Unfortunately, I don’t have an “after” photo to share due to the product falling off early.

Silicone scar sheet

Scar tissue looks better

I have a scar on my neck from my lymphoma cancer biopsy. I have used scar creams but not strips. I do see a difference and it feels like the scar tissue is thinner. I’ll continue to use the strips and I hope this helps with the scar.

Good product

I like that you can reuse it so it isn’t one and done. I think after some time this would help with clearing the look of a scar I would recommend.
