But also advised per website FAQ's "Mederma for Kids was specifically formulated for use on anyone above age 2. It has a sent and a purple color that goes to clear when you rub it in. If you have any further questions on what would be suit your child, please see the advice of their healthcare provider.

The over night cream has an active ingredient or Dimethicone. The over night cream is designed to work with skin nighttime regenerative activity to reduce appearance of scars.

I have aging skin on my forearms which is easily damaged. I have several scars on both arms on which I have been using Mederma. The scars have significantly decreased over 2 months. The skin is still pink but it is smooth. I will see how it goes over time. The only negative is the cream dries shiny. I which it had a flat finish.

Need time to tell and maybe the right scar
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this for the past month on a keloid scar I got when I was younger (10+ years ago). So far I don’t see much of a difference but I’m thinking because the type of scar I have, it wouldn’t make much of a difference. I have to try it on a not so raised acne scar maybe

Huge difference in a short amount of time
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 8 days! That's it. And I will continue to use it. Super fast healing. It's a very smooth gel that moisturizes really well. It has more of a watery feel but then feels more like gel when you put it in your skin. And it has a pleasant scent if that matters to anyone. Highly recommend.

Not sure
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Influenster wouldn’t let me update the before photo. This is a scar from earlier this year. I used merderma for about 3 weeks. It looks like maybe the scar is a little bit lighter but honestly maybe not. After a week the skin around the scar started peeling. Don’t know if it was an allergic reaction. Because they want a review within 30 days it’s not long enough for me to give an accurate review.

I used it consistently once a day, and after a few weeks I could clearly see my scar becoming lighter and smoother. The gel absorbs quickly, isn’t greasy, and fits easily into my daily routine. I also appreciated that it didn’t irritate my skin at all, even with regular use. While scars don’t disappear overnight, this product definitely made a noticeable difference over time. Effective
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First photo with the tube visible is November 18 when I first applied it. Second photo is today December 18. I was not consistent at applying this, so it didn’t have a daily chance. I put it on more like 1, sometimes 2 times a week. It’s very easy to use. I found that it dries too, to a gel like consistency. I like that as putting this on my foot is an awkward location and it’s hard not to rub it off on accident. But if I wait a bit, it dries and then I can put socks on or whatnot. I think it improved the look of this scar I have. It’s not an old scar, probably a month or 2. It helped reduce the redness. I didn’t experience any irritation using this product.

Impressive!

With consistent use, it made a massive difference in the appearance of the scar. The scar is noticeably smoother, less raised, and far less visible than before. The gel is easy to apply, absorbs quickly, and didn’t irritate his skin at all. We weren’t sure what to expect, but the improvement exceeded our expectations. If you’re looking for something that truly helps improve the look of a scar over time, this one is absolutely worth trying. Doesn’t work

Gets the work done
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m always getting scratched from playing with my pets, so I try to keep any gels or patches that help with scarring. This one is just good, lightweight get dries quite fast. I forget to reapply it on some days and it still helped to leave a seamless appearance.

Unknown if it actually works

But I can say that when I apply it, my scars doesn't feel as rough. Lotion and body butter doesn't compare to how this gel softens the scar. So I'm hopeful and will keep applying

Small effect
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used it on my pretty fresh scar from a C-section I can see that the scar got a bit lighter, but on the other hand I tried it out on +20years old scar and can't see any difference. It has a bit of a chemical scent, but I didn't use it on my face so it didn't really bother me. It had a bit of a cooling effect, but didn't sting or itch. Overall I can recommend trying it if you have more recent scars.
