Anti-bacterial coating?

I was told by the manufacturer that the product has an anti-bacterial coating. This information isn't on the product label or product description found on the website. I don't want to use a cotton swab that has been coated with an anti-bacterial chemical. These cotton swabs are supposed to be chemical free.

only organic will do

If I use anything cotton now, I insist on organic. No more chemicals for me on my cotton. These are better than regular swabs because they are organic.
