2.5 stars. I bought these as a cheaper alternative to Luminara candles, which I love but they’re so expensive. They’re definitely not the same quality. The description says they’re 3 inches wide but they’re slightly bigger so they don’t fit in my candle holders. The description also says they use AA batteries but they actually use AAA. They make a clicking noise when they’re on; at first I thought it might be an intentional crackling fire sound but it’s just the “flame” bumping into the candle. Lastly, the battery door is flimsy plastic and feels like it will break easily. They look okay, though when they’re lit they’re orangeish instead of ivory color. I probably wouldn’t buy again.
