    Obviously a "protein" snack

    For the price, I expected these to be objectively good. For someone that hasn’t had “real” dessert in awhile, maybe they’d be okay. But I thought they tasted very obviously “protein-y.” The sort of thing that you can convince yourself is good for the first two bites and then you end up not even finishing.

    Quality is going downhill

    I like the flavor ( after a 10 second microwaving) but the quality control of these has dropped noticeable over the past year. Yes, they are a protein pastry so they have the protein flavor and texture, but overall they’re still appetizing. They used to look a lot more like an actual pop tart, but they’ve become more and more of a cheap knock-off, but the price has gone up. The shape has become more of a goofy little square blob, and the frosting isn’t consistent. See photo. For a box of four costing $10 the quality and consistency should be a lot better.

    Have gone down in quality

    At first these protein pop tarts were a great fit for my family, my daughter and husband loved them. They were and easy grab and go snack. However more recently we have seen them get smaller and smaller. They have also become less fluffy in texture.
