La Roche-Posay Lipikar AP+M Triple Repair Body Moisturizing Cream (formerly Lipikar Balm AP+) for Dry Skin with Shea Butter and Glycerin is a non-greasy and non-sticky body moisturizer that is clinically proven to reduce dry, rough skin. It replenishes skin's essential lipids and provides long-lasting 48-hour hydration. This body cream is formulated with a high concentration of La Roche-Posay Prebiotic Thermal Water, lipid-replenishing Shea Butter and moisturizing Glycerin and Niacinamide. Dermatologist-tested, this body cream is safe for the whole family’s sensitive skin including adults, children, and babies as young as two weeks. It is suitable for patients undergoing chemotherapy and radiation*, helping moisturize and comfort sensitive skin.

• Ceramide-3: Ceramides are lipids naturally found in skin. They play an essential role to help retain moisture and maintain a healthy skin barrier. Ceramide 3, also known as Ceramide NP, is a skin-identical lipid used in our formulas to help support the skin moisture barrier.
• Shea Butter: Sustainably sourced in Burkina Faso. Formulas with shea butter help restore the skin's hydrolipidic film and help skin feel soothed.

Caution: Caused Burning Sensation
I have always liked the double moisture version, but with the winter and getting extra dry skin I tried out this version. However, each time I used it (it was used alone without other products) it made my skin feel like it was burning and irritated my skin’s barrier. It is very rich and thick and does absorb well, so not sure if I just got a bad batch, but will stick with the double moisture version.

As a recent chemo patient who's still dealing with side effects of chemo my hands peel and dry out pretty bad from daily washing especially in cold weather. This helps soothe my skin especially my hands and really helps keep moisture in place (I combine with a castor oil if and when needed) it's a bit pricey but a little goes a long way so definitely worth the cost imo

stings, burns eyes-pills and peels my skin
first off loyal lover of lrp skin care prods. I have bought and used all the versions of lipikar- urea, apm, and just regular. I was super excited to use these lotions bc they contain lipids which are better than ceramides to hydrate deeper into skin. I've used on my face, legs, all over my body. first, my skin gets those lil balls like a sweater pilling and like another reviewer my skin peels, weird. another thing is, it causes an allergic reaction to my eyes- red, itchy, burning, bumps, stinging, redness. at first I thought it was my cheap eye cream. threw that out. no matter when I use it, at night, the ap+m, etc my eyes sting! and there is something wrong with lrp website bc I am unable to log into my account. I've tried multiple times, and there isn't a plug-in or click to log in. so irritated as I need to stop my auto order. I have several auto orders on diff emails. i'll just stick to their cicaplast. was going to order some eye cream, but now i'm hezzy and going to pass.

I am pretty excited I found this moisturizer! I had been looking for an unscented, highly moisturizing body lotion for my sensitive and eczema-prone winter. This is it! I’ve bought several times now. I like that the brand is available from drugstores big box stores, and easily online. At first, I thought it was a little difficult to rub in, sometimes I mix it with a squirt of a less expensive less hydrating lotion. I can’t imagine buying anything else for at least a number of years.

Great product, terrible packaging
I love this lotion. Super hydrating, creamy, calming, wonderful product. The large 400mL pump is garbage though. There’s A TON of wasted product at the bottom of the pump. I had to press the pump about 100 times to get anything out of it the first use. It’s too thick of a product for a pump. And all of the waste at the bottom is a shame. Please redesign the packaging! A tub would be lovely.

The only thing that works for dry winter skin
This is the only moisturizer that works for my super dry face due to cold winter air. I don’t recommend wearing it under makeup unless you use a TINY bit because your foundation will break apart and look messy since it’s more on the greasy side. I use this in the morning and at night after washing my face, and sometimes throughout the day if I start to feel any dryness. I have minor acne, but haven’t noticed any clogged pores or crazy breakouts from using this.

Despite the shea butter, died out my oily skin!
Esthetician here. I assumed the shea butter would be occlusive enough to keep my skin supple but my face felt tight afterwards. For reference, I use a non foaming gentle hydrating cleanser so this should not happen. I prefer the bioderma Atoderm cream. NOTHING compares to that.
