I love the Montessori aspect of it and that it is wooden. 18m+ is pretty accurate, although I'm sure a child would enjoy it that is somewhat younger than that as well. Love that you can connect it, roll it, pull it, and the added touch of the peg people is cute.

With the Rainbow Roll and Stack, children can engage in imaginative play while practicing motor skills, problem solving, and engaging in fun sensory play. Kiwico toys are made with quality, non-toxic materials. Toys are thoughtfully designed by a diverse team of educators, engineers, designers, and scientists and tested by kids! As a mother and an occupational therapy practitioner, I am very impressed by my first impression of Kiwico toys and would definitely shop with them again.

Although simple, the mix of shapes and colors allows for tons of open ended play. My daughter was very creative pretending the cars were going different places or stacking the colored blocks in the sun to see the light shine through. The objects are lightweight but well made. No choking hazards either. This could be an heirloom toy due to the quality. Thank you!

Please note: I bought this as an upcoming holiday gift for a friend, so did not unbox everything. The cars rolled without hiccup on both wood and carpet floors, and felt safe to play with - smooth wood faces and no rough edges. Packaging also looks very intentional and full!

My children love this toy, from my 2 year old to even my 7 year old playing in these photos. They make little to no noise and provide endless hours of imaginative play. Definitely recommend!

I will say when using it as a car it doesn't stay together the best so he does get a little frustrated but they are very high quality and seem very durable

My 15 month old loves to stack with this toy and I know it will grow with her as she learns to “drive” the pieces and pretend play. I was listening to him play and his imagination was going wild. The strained glass blocks look so cool! My little one was using them as glasses and it was so sweet to see. I really like the little rubber grips on the wheels. It helps keep the sound down and give the cars traction. The blocks are well constructed and will last for years to come. We are thrilled with our Kiwico set.

It is designed for children over 18 months and combines the best of free play with safe and good quality pieces. The pieces are made of solid wood, with rounded edges and soft rainbow-like colors that attract a lot of attention without being too bright. What I like the most is that everything fits perfectly, so the little ones can assemble, stack or drag the train without getting frustrated. The game includes rainbow-type blocks, wheels, connectors and small figures (the "peg people"), which allows you to invent many different combinations. It helps a lot with hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills and creativity. In addition, the size of the pieces is ideal for small hands: there are no dangerously small pieces, and they feel resistant.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 3 boys (2, 4 and 11) and the 3 of them likes the toy so much that when i got and opened it they played with it immediately. Even my 11 year old son. They even tried to make it as a lamp as seen on the picture. It stimulates the creativity side of the kids and you an take it anywhere you go. The material is wood that i think would last for a very long time combined with a little bit of plastic. You just have to get a container so that peices of it wont get lost. It DOES NOT have small peices that can choke kids which is a big plus.
