This item arrived for a Christmas gift and my husband was so excited. We made sourdough and it became time to kneed it so we set this up, and it spun around 3 times and then stopped. The whole electrical board was broken. Very upset with how expensive this costs

Kitchen Aid Mixer, Broke in 15-20 mins.
I Bought this for my boyfriend because he been wanting one for years. He was so happy and excited to open it HE EVEN SNIFF IT! But when he tried using it while making a batch of cookie dough, It went dead on him. He is very disappointed and upset that the thing he wanted for such a long time was broken in less then 20 mins. I hope target or kitchen aid would help us with this situation. He would love to buy this product but we need some help ensuring we won’t get a lemon. :(

Do Not Buy Agave
I Am Furious! I bought this as a Christmas Present for my Baker-Husband. An it dying mid - Cinnamon Roll bake was so disappointing. To see the sadness come across his face..moment after the joy of receiving the gift. We will be returning this. An Kitchen aid & Target both better be prepared. Because negligence when it comes to a mechanical appliance is a lawsuit ready to happy.

Stopped working in the middle of first use...just like all the reviews
I was so excited to get this mixer because I have started baking my own bread and other baked goods. My boss gave me a gift card so even though I saw the other reviews and warning, I figured “why not, it’s after Christmas. Perhaps the faulty batches were already sold” Not so much…why would Kitchenaid and Target allow this continue? Why didn’t they recall the bad batches of mixers?

Awful. Don’t waste your time or money.
I purchased first time and it was defective. Would not turn on any of my outlets. Replaced it and it came with a weird powered that looked like flour over it. Noticed the spatula piece looked bubbly and when I went to wash it off to use it, the paint came off! Then while using it to mix cookie dough it was on the last setting and started making this loud pitching vibrating sound. Just overall disappointed with this product. I’m almost starting to think that they are reselling the returns because no way this happens twice. Finally returning it for a refund. I’ll wait to see if I reinvest in another mixer, or even buy it through target.

Died during 1st Use
Bought this for my 10 year old daughter for a xmas present. We went to make our first batch of sugar cookies and the machine died during mixing. Very disappointing! Called Kitchenaid and this is a known issue with a batch of these. They have alerted Target to stop selling them, but Target is not complying. Kitchenaid supposedly has a fix, but requires a brand new unit - that they are shipping to me. Do Better both KitchenAid and Target!

I received this as a gift for Christmas. It stopped working after 5 minutes. After doing some research, this is a common problem. Unfortunately, the husband will be dealing with customer service to try and get a replacement. Very disappointing, considering the cost of this mixer.

There clearly must be a defect on these. I didn't even use it for 10 minutes and it stopped working the very first time I used it. Read other reviews and there are many other people that experienced the same thing. So sad because it's a beautiful mixer, too bad it doesn't work!

Stopped working after less than 5 minutes of mixing. I have owned a Cuisinart for the last 15 years and it still works and this one lasted only 5 minutes. what a shame of a product.
