Kichler Lighting Sola 1 - Light Ceiling Fan in Brushed Nickel

This product is beyond frustrating. The light turns on in the middle of the night all the time. It’s incredibly hard to remove the lightbulbs. Highly do not recommend.

Light bulb went out within a week. As electrician was checking to see if wiring was done properly (it was), he noticed the whole motor is twisting inside when undoing the light fixture, and suggested we check the warranty and replace. Not happy to hear this on a brand new fan! Also we were quite unhappy with (relatively weak) air flow it puts out, but we're using in a 12x14 room and now see it is recommended for 12x10 room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Sola Led 44" fan is perfect on my porch. The color is beautiful and goes well with any color or theme. The installation went very smooth and faster than what I had initially thought it would be. We (my husband and I) had the fan installed and working in a little less than an hour. The instructions that come with the fan are very detailed and easy to follow. The control of the lighting and fan is wonderful, it is convenient and adds to the comfort that comes with having a porch fan. I am looking forward to adding another fan to my back porch as well.

But I wanted to come here for those that may question this fan and let you know we highly recommend it! Not only is the color and the finish absolutely flawless but the lighting is impeccable. Best ceiling fan ever! I love it in my bedroom along with my sister’s bedroom as well as our guest bedroom. It has a flush mount so that it is mounted higher on our 8-foot ceilings. It has 3 blades and it is the best ceiling fan that we ever have had. It moves a lot of air and it is controlled by a wall control! The 3 fans that we bought cool the bedrooms very efficiently and they have a very nice appearance! My family will most certainly buy another one in the future.

Fan looks great! Easy to install.We are wondering ig there is a light package with led bulbs that gives a cool white light instead of a warm light that came with it.

I wanted a fan that had some style and didn't have that old fashion Ceiling fan look. I love this one and that it has a modern minimalist look. Also, this fan is so quiet I forget it is running. I now plan to buy more of these for other rooms in my home.

Looks great. Works well. Sadly unlike many other fans it is not sold with a remote. There is no manual reverse switch on the exterior of the fan so you either need to install the included wall switch or purchase a cool touch remote with the reverse function. We hotwired the fans to an existing switch to avoid having to cut into the wall for the included panel hence required a compatible remote to control the fan. The product box/manual does not include a list of compatible remotes nor was the information available at my local lamps plus or their website. However the Kichler website has the phone number for customer support which was excellent so we were able to order the desired remotes after speaking with them.

Love the fan. Looks great in our redecorated office. One thing, we had to have our electrician come back to reprogram the fan remote as the light & fan were coming on randomly due to other fans we had in adjacent rooms.

This really does hug the ceiling yet produces effective airflow. The look is sleek and three blades make cleaning a breeze. The wall switch is easy to use including being able to reverse the fan from the switch. The light is soft but brightens a dark room.

Installed this fan in 3 bedrooms to replace very old 80's style fans. This contemporary looking and brushed nickel was a very good improvement. The fan is very efficient and fairly silent, it moves a good amount of air, so I figure the little sound you hear is mostly the sound of the air moving. Light does not flicker when the fan is on, which is great. Good lighting for a bedroom, not overpowering. The only issue we had was that after we installed the 3 fans and the electrician had left, we realized that the remotes where interfering with each other and by turning one light on, the other room would go dark, etc... I would say it was almost entertaining, except for the fact that we had to deal with 3 annoyed teenagers for the entire weekend until the electrician came back to fix on Monday. If you are installing more than one close to each other, make sure to change the factory code in the remote and the fan itself. This will spare you from the trouble and also a few extra bucks for your electrician extra visit.
