Hair loss
I tried this shampoo about 2 years ago and while it helped my dandruff, I noticed I was losing a lot of hair. I thought it was due to my low iron but just in case I switched off it it. Now that my iron is back in normal range I decided to try it again and same thing, my hair loss has increased, like a lot. I also noticed that by day 2/3 after washing, I smell my natural scalp oils making me having to wash my hair more. Sad because this is the only dandruff shampoo they has given me 0 flakes but hair loss is a deal breaker.

Absolutely adore this shampoo. I have microlocs and my scalp gets real itchy by day 3 with other shampoos but with this shampoo I’m on week 1 and only have minimal to no itchy scalp. Side note: was using ASIAM scalp scare but they changed the formula taking zinc out, so I am glad I found this one!

Hair salon quality
Bought this on a whim because I love Dove dandruff shampoo and Head and Shoulders shampoo for the dandruff side of things but they both make my hair so dry. This shampoo smells like the Aveda rosemary shampoo and does a great job clearing dandruff/buildup while making your hair smooth and healthy. I use the conditioner and also a Trader Joe’s shea butter mask for my dry ends. I have gotten a ton of compliments about my hair looking so nice since I switched to this shampoo so I’d recommend it! Definitely a better price than any professional shampoo and I think it performs similar to any shampoo I’ve purchased at the hair salon. Recommend!

Dandruff shampoo
Honestly I thought I would like this product when I read about it but it was terrible my hair never actually felt clean after I used it and there was no change with the dandruff what so ever for the price and the little bottle it comes it, I’d recommend not buying. It won’t do your hair any good. I used it for a while too thinking it just needed to be used longer but no if anything made the dandruff worse. Not worth your money!

NOT GOOD FOR SEB DERM
I like the smell and think its fine as an overall shampoo. It may also be good for just a dry scalp, but with ingredients like coconut oil and safflower oil, it will not help with seb derm. Mine got worse and as I learned more about malessezia, I took a closer look at the ingredients and saw coconut oil. That feeds the fungus!

I’ve been trying different “anti-dandruff” shampoos and I’ve gotten great results from the first time using this. I let it sit on my scalp for about 3 minutes, then I use the “dry scalp care” shampoo (also from Jupiter) after. As soon as I brushed my hair after the shower, big clumps of flakes/dandruff came right off!! I was so surprised and happy. I will be using this every other hair wash day (2 times a week) to take care of my scalp problems. Please make bigger sizes or sell refill packs<33

Best shampoo period
I have intermittent, mild dandruff. I've used many other products, both medicated and unmedicated, and this is the best shampoo I've ever used for any reason. It smells great, cleared up my dandruff right away, and leaves my hair incredibly soft. I would use this even if I never had dandruff.

Don't recommend for itchy scalp or dermatitis
I will not be repurchasing this shampoo and conditioner. I used it one time and thought I was gonna pull my hair out from itching my head. My head itched so bad it felt like my skin was crawling. I thought I would give it a 2nd chance but no improvement. Don’t recommend for people with dermatitis or very dry itchy scalp.

Wont be repurchasing
This shampoo does work for dandruff however I will not be repurchasing and quite honestly can hardly even continue to use it. The consistency is SO thin. I have to use probably 3-4oz to cover my whole head (my hair is shoulder length). It doesn’t spread easily at all and also doesn’t foam which makes it harder to get on all of my hair too. I ordered this 2 weeks ago and I already have gone through 3/4 of it. If you do purchase this, I would recommend using another shampoo with it and using this one more on the days that you need the dandruff treatment.
