Some good features, unreliable

Bought about 5 weeks ago, sounds quality decent, fit was ok, generally was enjoying the product and i use headphones for at least 3 hours a day, had to return first set after 3 weeks as right headphone would not charge in the case on about every 3rd occasion. Took them back to store and was given a new set and now another couple of weeks on the new set has started doing the same,ive tried cleaning them every time after use (wipe down with microfibre cloth (case included) taking the ubber earpiece off (does help most of the time but not every time) i may be doing something wrong but if thats the case i was lied to in assuming i could put them in the case and they would charge (even with the charger plugged into the case or case fresh off fully charging) not a bad product but also wishing I could go back and buy a different set as its terrible listening with just the one earbud in because the other is flat.

Noise canceling doesn't work

Noise canceling is a joke. I work in a fab shop and have the ambient sound off but when ever I use my grinders it literally make them louder and I have to turn off my music. Also they love to just randomly pause my music. Not worth the money!

Awful

I bought these a little over a month ago and I love the sound quality. But with said, terrible random connectivity. The right ear bud randomly connects to the phone after being off in case for hours. Runs battery down in that single ear bud rendering it not usable when you really want it until charged. Also runs the case battery down. Would not recommend. Constantly disappointed when starting workout at gym in morning.

Not worth the money

Very average for the price. The case is great when it works. The sound on mine cracks regularly and not while they are cranked up. It also always spunds like im in a big hall of echos. When watching a movie. Its deep rich sound but on some aps (Netflix) its so quiet I can hardly hear it. Ive triad all sorts of different setting to help with that but still disappointing. They look great and feel great but as a person who has several different sets of earbuds etc and who listens for many hours a day, these are just not the ones!!!

Very dissopinted

Bought this 2 weeks ago- the noice cancellation is very basic audio is flat the earphones start hurting if worn more than 30min battery life on ANC <5hrs The EQ settings are horrible The talk through feature just randomly turnns itself on even when you are not talking - causing interruptions to your music The Bluetooth just disconnects a few times just on its own Dont even get me started on the APP- It is very difficult to connnect it to the app and once connected to the app it will a lot of time fail to reconnect/ sync with the earpods and might just connct with a random pair of headphones and earphones The touch screen gets activated while in pocket and causes a lot of issues Not worth the price at all

Sound fades in and out.

Worked great for about 5 months and then the sound started to fade in and out of both ear buds. I have no idea what caused it but for the price i paid these should work for years with no issue.

Thanks for your feedback. Bluetooth will perform well for up to 30 feet. However, walls, obstacles, and other wireless devices can impede that 30-foot range. If it works well at 10 feet or less, it is likely that there is something interfering with your wireless Bluetooth signal, causing these dropouts. Here are some troubleshooting steps that might help isolate the issue with your JBL Live Beam 3. First, we need to determine if the problem is in the device or the earbuds. Try to connect the earbuds to a different device (phone/tablet/music player) to see if it fixes the problem. Next is reset, with both earbuds on, and not charging, tap two times, and hold the button on the third tap for more than 5 seconds. You may need to 'forget' the earbuds in Bluetooth settings on your phone/tablet in order to pair it again. If the issue remains, please contact us.

The Worst product ever

Bought this product on 14th Sep 2024, I started facing a lot of connectivity issues which was intermittently fixed by the software patches but it would lead to a different issue. after 8 months of limited usage the charging case is not able to retain charge and gets completely discharged with 12 hr span (with zero usage). Complete waste of money, I would prefer Sony any day, it was dumb of me to go for JBL. I own two different models of Sony which are older than JBL but still works perfect. Thanks to JBL for giving us this worst product....

Great features & sound, very poor fit.

Great sound, usability, but the fit to ear is poor. Tried all ear pieces, had wife and colleague try too. All have same issue that they don’t fit and stay snug on the move.

Excellent sound quality and features

I've been using the Live Beam 3 for a few weeks now, and I am consistently impressed with the audio quality! I bought these to replace a different brand which had stopped working. I was tempted to go with the same brand, but I had been using them for a couple of years and decided to take a look at what else was now on the market. We've been using the JBL Flip 4 speakers for a few years now and thoroughly enjoying them. For such a small speaker they put out a mighty sound! I thought I would take a look at their earbud offerings. I am so glad that I did! After reading and viewing a large number of reviews I decided to go for the Live Beam 3, and wow! These wee things sound amazing! The app is great and easy to use, and it is very easy to tweak the sound to get it just the way you like it. I've used the earbuds a few times for phone calls and zoom meetings and the quality is excellent. The people at the other end say that my voice is really clear to them. I love the charging case. It's really nice and compact and looks great. The screen is a nice touch, but I'm not sure how necessary it is. I have used it a few times to adjust some settings, but I still tend to use the app and my phone for things like volume and track control. All in all, I can really recommend these ear buds. The sound quality is the best that I have heard, even when compared to more expensive models from competitors. I am absolutely delighted with these.

Absolutely terrible product. Frankly unacceptable at this price point. These things are seriously faulty and have unbelievably bad software quality/support for such an expensive product. Sound quality is good/average. ANC is mediocre, battery life is average. The case is a fun gimmick. - They constantly change the case background image back to the factory settings (it’s incredibly annoying having to change it back every hour) - After 15-30 minutes of using ANC they die out and basically stop working, I have to put them back in the case and reconnect. They also turn off for no reason. - Audio and microphone settings go crazy mid calls (person on the other side reports not being able to hear me speak) and voice-aware changes constantly for no reason. They also hang up calls constantly for no reason. It is actually infuriating. - Case screen sometimes works flawlessly, but other times it becomes the laggiest piece of crap imaginable, there is no in between. I have had Sennheiser’s, Sony’s and Bose buds, and none of them come even close to being as buggy or faulty as these. ANC could be a lot better too.

Expensive mistake

Decided to move from Sennheiser and regret it immediately. Have been attempting to use these for weeks now. I stress "attempting" because these earphones fail at their primarily task: sitting in your ears. Don't be fooled by the promise of a "perfect fit", no amount of abusing your ear canal will make these earbuds hold. Credit to JBL, the sound quality is amazing... For the seconds you can achieve a seal. Ideal for anyone who is not planning on walking, running, walking, emoting or talking while using this product. Joke is on me for taking this out of the box and being unable to get a return. Look elsewhere.
