Q: i've bought several pairs of thesed (& the higher-end $12 ones). I can't figure out why I am ALWAYS having to replace the rubber pad inside because it's consistently happening with all models?! Help!

A: Most lash pads are made with silicone which is a flexible & durable material. However, repeated use & pressure created during use will gradually degrade the silicone material. Additionally, exposure to moisture, makeup and cleaning solutions can contribute to wear and tear. Lash pads should typically last 6 - 12 months. Please note you should never curl lashes after mascara application. This can cause lash breakage and will more quickly degrade your lash pad. All Japonesque lash curlers include a 2nd lash pad giving you up to 2 years of use. Extra lash pads can be purchased on line.

Does not rip mt lashes
This gives me a clean curl meaning it does not pull or rips my lashes off. It’s nice that it comes with 3 extra replaceable gel pads. I hope this will last me a few years as did the last one. I am southeast Asian and it shapes greatly for it.

Worst curler I have touched
Might as well buy scissors for your eyelashes. Bought this today, used it straight out of the box in perfect condition. I immediately lost five eyelashes in one spot. They were cut short, basically to the lash line. Thanks to this awful, poorly designed eyelash curler, I will be waiting 3 months for my eyelashes to grow back. Please do NOT buy this eyelash curler. Invest your money in the Tweezerman eyelash curler (or any curler other than this).

For tougher lashes, there isnt any value in this product.
Wife says even though the curler is divided into eye shape, it absolutely would not hold for her so that was quite disappointing. Definitely recommend paying a bit more for higher quality. Her lashes tend to not hold curls that well so that could be a contributing factor but if your lashes curl easy then maybe this is worth a flyer but keep the box for the return ready in case this didn’t work.

Doll eyes Curler
These are totally worth it if you have round or bigger eyes. My daughter steals mine every day because she likes these way more than the classic curlers. The only downside is the rubber insert pops out pretty often, and I’m always digging through my makeup bag trying to find it again. I’m currently trying to figure out a way to keep it in place, but aside from that, they work great.

Broke and ripped out eyelashes.
Loved this lash curler…until I didn’t! I’ve only had this curler for a couple of weeks, and really like the design and the super cushy pad. It works really well at curling lashes and the price was really reasonable - not super cheap and not super expensive. As I was curling my lashes at the lash line, the weld/rivet broke and ripped out half of my upper lashes. I can’t believe that it broke and it’s very concerning. Be careful in your use!

Dangerous stay away
I do not recommend these at all. As I was using them they snapped (yes I know how to use them and know not to put a ton of pressure. I’ve been using curlers for over 25 years). As I was using them yesterday the top part snapped off and hit me inside my eye like a slingshot. It bruised my eye, caused blurred vision, and busted vessels. I am thankful it wasn’t any worse. These are not safe at all and will not buy anything from this brand ever again.
