I purchased this in August. Worked great for about a month - the smaller sharpener does not work at all now. I have to use the large pencil sharpener for all my pencils. The lid also does not stay in place. And I have pieces of pencil tip that have slipped through to the backside of the sharpener that I can not get out. Spend a little more money and get a better sharpener.

Not sure if it just dulls out easily but across multiple brand pencils, I will have breaks of my lip pencils which sticks because it wastes products. I use it only as an emergency back up now, but not my main sharpener
