Great when it works but unrepairable within 2.5 years
Received as an expensive Christmas present! Great when working, but when the heating element failed within 2.5 years we were told by manufacturer it is not repairable. Unfit for purpose at the price.

Quick release is dreadfully SLOW
Pleased in general but when the pressure cooker is set to quick release it takes the best part of ½ an hour to release. I don't call that quick.

I would not buy or recomend
Worked great until the lid seal got a nick (you're supposed to replace these every so often) and I tried to purchase a replacement. I could not find one that was a replacement, and their support was worthless. They kept telling me to buy the ones that would not fit. Would not recommend!!

Do not buy this!
This does not work, the pressure cooker feature does not work, it releases too much steam, and there is nothing you can do about it. Instant pot is a pain to work with. Just save yourself and order two seperate appliances. It was too good to be true, unfortunately.

Awesome Appliance!
I have had mine for about 4 years and I love it. Surprised to see all the bad reviews. Never had any problems and I use it ALOT! I love that the steamer function is programmable and you. Don’t have to flip the tab to start the steam release. I love that the lid just hinges on the appliance. I love that you do not need an additional lid for air frying. I’ve definitely gotten my money’s worth.

Poorly made and poor customer services
Though I have been able to make some tasty things in this, it is really not worth the money or worth throwing out your good slow cooker and air fryer. In the first year I had it, the pressure cooker acted up 3x and wouldn't shut off or wouldn't open after finishing. Now, I've had for a little over 2 years, the pressure cooker interior lid broke (the little tab that many other people report breaking). It's bad enough that it is busted and past warranty, but the company has NO IDEA when the replacement parts will be available. They have no supplies and no interest in creating a waiting list for the supplies.

Extremely disappointed. Awful!!
Extremely disappointed. My first unit was stuck closed permanently, and customer service did nothing to reimburse me for the food I lost, including organic chicken breast and Rao’s sauce. I gave them another chance and bought a second one, but it’s just as bad, this one never gets past preheat when trying to pressure cook. That function barely works at all. Total waste of money and frustrating experience.

Product Is As Bad As The Customer Service
Overall, very mediocre. Doesn't do anything well other than pressure cook. Slow cooking, sautéing, air frying are all quite poor. Mine ended up getting stuck closed, less than two years after purchasing it. I reached out to Instant Pot with a video, proof of purchase, etc. they said it was past the one year warranty and they wouldn't do anything. They also stopped responding when I asked if more than $100 per year seemed reasonable for a device like this. Last time I buy any Instant Pot product

Zero available replacement parts
I used to think highly of this unit, until the steam release valve handle accidentally went into the disposal and got chewed up. No problem, I thought, I'll just order a new replacement part. Have spent more than hour email/chat/phone before a support person admitted 'there are ZERO replacement parts available for this unit' and suggested I buy and entirely new Instant Pot. I just couldn't believe what I was hearing. Ebay does have lots of available parts, but so far I haven't found anything at all for this model (Duo Crisp 6.5qt w/ Ultimate Lid).So I cannot recommend a model which is apparently completely unsupported by Instant Pot.

Poor lid design
The pressure cooker lid is poorly designed. The tab breaks off easily. Would not recommend.

Unsafe product to use
I received this product as a Christmas gift , used it twice , second time , lid wouldn't open. I contacted customer service they wouldn't do anything for me because I didn't have a receipt. Will throw it out. Not a safe product to use . Under pressure, very hot & u can't open the lid so my husband had to hit it multiple times to open it after watching a video on YouTube.

Duo Crisp with Ultimate Lid
I received this product as a gift recently and have been thrilled with the unit. All the manuals, recipes and vids online are easy to follow. I've pressure cooked, air fried and slow cooked with it and will be trying the sous vide next month, I have found that its easier to turn over food when air frying by removing the food rather than turning it while in the unit, but other than that everything works great.

Worst product from IP
The Duo Crisp is great in concept but doesnt come with any instructions, hard to clean, and constantly having issues. Today, the issue is a simple release of the plate, and no one is able to help or even listen to my issue.

Where is the manual? This machine is not intuitive
Bought this new last year. Have only used it a handful of times. Where is the MANUAL??? The start button is so dark and low on the device one must squint and bend over to see/use it. The sequence to set it is a total hit or-miss without a GUIDE. Tried to use it today for making chicken noodle soup. My husband (an electrical engineer with 20 years experience programming robotics) needed a video. I love the Duo, but cannot recommend this Multi-Cooker. If you want something that will look great on your countertop…this is it. If you want something that a typical cook can operate, but a regular Duo.

Horrible Engineering - do not buy!!
Original instant pot broke at a weak point. Took 6 months to get a replacement. The replacement has now broken within months of use. There are no replacement pieces available. Customer service for this brand and this model in particular are HORRIBLE. The design is faulty in many areas related to the multipurpose lid.

Overpriced
I bought this cooker 2 years ago now. Just dumped it in the trash. Waited for the pressure cooker to release steam for over 12 hours. Ridiculous. Customer service, 3 separate representatives deep, were of no help. One even suggested to just buy a new one. Never happening again. The slow cooker option takes forever to warm up, so I never used that setting. I do not recommend this over priced product nor this very unhelpful company.

Not worth it in the long run
After having this for 3 years, the tab on pressure cooker broke. I reached out customer to purchase a new lid and they told me I have to buy a whole new unit. What a rip off

Fatal design flaw
There is a bit of a flaw in the instructions for installing the pressure cooker cover; it reads 'Install the Pressure Cooking Cover, by alingning and inserting tab into slot.' With no mention of the hole the tab needs to go into behide the slot ing the locking ring. This is only a problem when you wife doesn't see said hole and then she hulks the cover into place making impossible to close the lid or remove the cover from the lid without the use of extreme blunt force trauma. If anyone has a way to fix this in a more delicate manor then the application of explosives please let me know.
