Q: Does the vehicle need to be on for it to work

  • A: Yes, it can work with the car off if the outlet is powered and the battery has enough charge. But many cars require the key in “ACC/On” for the outlet to be active, so often people leave the engine running to avoid battery drain. Hope this helps!
