This is just awful. I have used other kinds of Head & Shoulders before with no problem, but this one just will not lather.

If you don’t wash your hair every day, the shampoo may not lather well at first. To get more lather, shampoo the hair again after rinsing. Also, hard water can cause there to be less lather. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product works, but it can be better. There’s still a lot of dandruff in my sons hair. But a lot of it went away, but the smell of the shampoo is absolutely horrid. I mean this product could work on other peoples heads, but it didn’t work the best of my sons.

We know this can be frustrating and want to help. Dandruff and itching is caused by a microbe on the scalp. Everyone has this microbe but about half of us have a sensitivity to it, which causes irritation, flaking and redness. It's very important to use Head & Shoulders a minimum of 2 days a week, for at least 6 weeks. For maximum results, use it every time you shampoo. When we design our products, we do extensive research and consumer testing to create features (scent, size, design) that we think you will love. We know that preferences can vary from person to person. We always take consumer feedback into account when making changes or designing future products, so we'll be sure to share your comments on this with the rest of our team.

Head & Shoulders Men’s Sandalwood
I have used Head & Shoulders products for a while and appreciate that they are great formulas that seem to combat my dandruff. I saw this new line with a couple of different scents and the Sandalwood really stood out. The scent in the shower is strong and smells amazing, however when you are out of the shower the scent sort of dissipates, which is nice. I love the value size that comes with the pump bottle as it is super convenient, especially in the shower. I will continue to use these products because they are cost effective and work.

I have light dandruff, but I buy this stuff for itchy scalp. It works fine. I like sandalwood, but this doesn't smell like sandalwood to me. It smells nice, but not sandalwood. It works for my needs, so I'm good with it.

I bought this for my husband on a whim and it smells amazing! It smells like a spicy men’s cologne in the bottle. After he gets out the shower it smells a little sweeter. This makes his hair soft and keeps the dandruff away.

I have always had a hard time finding a shampoo that smells great but didn't bother my scalp and make it itchy. That's why I love this shampoo I get the smell I want without the itchy scalp the next day.
