All of the reviews saying this mixer has no power are lying. This thing is a BEAST. It mixed up my cookie dough recipe that I'd doubled like it was whipping cream. My old mixer burned out trying to mix it. The paddle beaters are great, too. Seriously, the power on this thing is amazing. You won't regret getting it.

Beater cord prevents the mixer from standing easily. The mixer body is short so it does not stand over a standard bowl. Do not like the easy clean mixers. Have had many other HamiltonBeach mixers. Very disappointed in this item.

Sharpe looking but performance/storage is lacking
I just got this and decided to to make a batch of brownies. I liked the slow introductory speed to avoid spashing. The solid paddles should be easy to clean. It is quiet. However, the mixer seemed a little underpowered; I only used a 5 speed. My real dislike of this appliance is that the storage case does not grip the mixer. There is a nice ridge on the case that should snap onto the mixer, but mine is too wide. The mixer just sits on the case but is not connected. And the complete set up is very tall (10 inches)--I will have to find a tall cabinet to store it in.

Versatile
My daughter kept borrowing my hand mixer, so I decided to buy a new one. Rather than only the normal beaters, I felt if was better to get the 3 types. Even if I never use them, at least I have the option and am therefore more likely to try new things. I was concerned the first time using it when one of the beaters came loose. It took a couple of tries to get it in and have it stay. Since then, I’ve had no trouble. I believe this will be a good purchase for a long time.

I really wanted to like this hand mixer. I was trying to find a quality item at a reasonable price point. I like the ease of switching speeds and the digital screen. The most disappointing thing is that both of the regular beaters broke after little use.

Easy Beaters? UH, NO!
Oh my goodness, what a mistake. Will add to my donation stack as soon as I can get dough scraped off these rubber beaters. The beaters immediately stick to onto whatever you’re mixing, so butter or cookie batter, for instance, is congealed to the beaters, thereby preventing actually mixing or adding in anything else.

This mixer has power. I bought this one after my 25 year old Hamilton Beach mixer broke. I had originally bought a different one that promised so much, but started smoking after trying to mix cookie dough with it. After I returned that one, I purchased this one. It’s amazing! It powered through cookie dough and didn’t struggle at all. If you’re debating purchasing this one don’t hesitate anymore. You’ll love it.

Very disappointed
This seemed like a pretty good price point for what you got. Three different sets of mixing paddles. Pulled it all out of the box and started washing everything, only to realize I was missing a whisk. So now I get to go stand in line and return it. Do I try another one? Or should I just buy something else online? I don't know. It hadn't been opened, it was obviously brand new. Oh well.
