Was having trouble with my old one got Garmin BP
I’m extremely happy with the Garmin and especially the way it takes three measurements and calculates an average.

Easy and integrated
I am an open heart surgery survivor. Having my valve replaced and my ascending Aortic aneurysm repaired, knowing and tracking my blood pressure is important and part of my routine. The Garmin Index has proven to be an easy way to accurately take and track my BP, which in turn makes things easy when sharing data with my wife or sharing with the doctor.

Fine instrument!
I am astounded at the perfection this blood pressure monitor performs. High quality, and the readings are saved on my phone app, which is so handy to show your doctor. I'm very impressed with all the Garmin products, including the scale and watch.

Added Health Tracking Benefit
I have been a Garmin user for several years now. I wasn't sure about this device at first and did comparisons with another monitor to see how close they were to each other. The readings were consistent. Since I have renewed my efforts to get into better shape and healthier along the way, the Index BPM monitor keeps he on track and honest. Since it ports the information directly into Garmin Connect, I can't really "cheat". Next check up with the doctor will have additional information to share.

Not easy to use and inaccurate
This was impossible to put on unless you had help. Also, I took my bp multiple times and the variation was really off. I am a huge Garmin nerd, but this product is not good.

Easy to use!
Having all my health and fitness stats in one place has been both convenient and educational. Garmin does a great job aggregating data from all their devices (Fenix watch, Index Scale, and the Index BP Monitor). This device is portable and can be used by multiple people.

Inconsistent readings
Returned after 2 weeks. Blood pressure measurement was pretty close, but I don't trust the machine when half the readings had a pulse 30 bpm lower than reality. I love Garmin, but when my watch, my manual check, and a second bp meter agree on about 74 bpm and this machine says 41, I would rather "invest" in a different machine.

One peice
Had for some time. There is a learning curve. Nice it is compact with no hose or separation between the arm band and pump/display. Downside is it is very sensitive to postioning in use. That's a learning curve.

Ease of use
I have been checking daily blood pressure for years now. I have never HAD TO check my blood pressure, like my wife. I am just trying to be aware of my overall health picture and to avoid any surprises. Unlike other brands used, I don't have to have this one really scug. It has never errored out because it was too loose. It is as accurate as others that I have used. The best thing is that it automatically syncs to the app.

Accurate
I have been using this monitor for over a month now, using it daily, and I have also been checking its accuracy against a BP cuff (sphygmomanometer). This is the most accurate BP device I have found so far. Nice that it uploads directly to my phone and the Garmin App. I Would have given it 5 Stars, but still waiting to see how long the batteries last.

Works easily, but?
Easily used, travels easy, but not sure about accuracy. I like how it shows up in Garmin Connect chart. But I have two other units and Garmin Index BPM reads high in comparison.

Useful but would be nice if it was smaller
Good device and serms to be accurate; however in 2025 I feel the device could be smaller and more portable and have a rechargeable battery instead of replaceable ones. For the very high price this should be standard.

Very mediocre, especially for the price.
User interface is very bland, and not especially fast. Two things I like are that the cuff rolls up tight so it takes up less space, and I like that it syncs in the same app as my other Garmin devices. But at more than 3x the cost of my 3 year old Omron cuff (with the same or better features), I'm very disappointed with the Garmin cuff ...

BPM stopped working after about a month.
I bought the Garmin Blood Pressure Monitor about a month ago. It worked for a while but now it doesn’t. Instead, it displays error messages like E1 and E2.

Easy to use and sync with Garmin Connect
I've been using this BP Monitor for about a month now and am, for the most part, pretty pleased. I like how it automatically syncs to my Garmin Connect account. The only negative is that it seems to give readings that are a little bit higher than other BP monitors. I've compared it to 2 other BP monitors, and the Garmin is always 10-12 points higher. That being said, I would still highly recommend.
