It has a bit of weight to it which helps with stability, but not too heavy that I would be nervous if it was to be dropped on anything. The blade itself is well constructed, not too sharp on the edges- my toddler got ahold of it when we weren’t looking and I was grateful to not be worried about him cutting himself. I’ll be using this to tend to my veggie garden all season long! Also, it really is ergonomic. I am using it with my left hand as pictured, but I’m right hand dominant. It was easy no matter which hand I used.

I love the curve of the handle that fits beautifully in my hand (felt good in both left and right hand) without irritation.
