Description

This versatile Farberware Classic Series Stainless Steel 1-Quart Covered Straining Saucepan with Pour Spouts is super-resourceful and easy to handle, and eliminates the hassle of dirtying a separate strainer or colander. Farberware has been trusted for over 100 years, and this straining saucepan continues that tradition for a new generation. A full cap base featuring a thick aluminum core surrounded by stainless steel provides rapid, even heating, whether boiling carrots or whisking milk gravy. Heavy-duty stainless steel is polished to a mirror finish for a classic touch. For covered cooking, rotate the self-basting lid to close the holes so heat and moisture stay inside the pan. To strain, simply align the lid's holes with the pan's pour spouts. The comfortable handle with iconic styling provides a confident grasp, making it easy to pour hot beef stock into a bowl or strain water from boiled potatoes. Classic series stainless steel saucepan

This was a replacement pan. My set is 25 yrs old. Not quite as heavy, but will do the job. Love my Farberware.

very useful, durable and easy to use

I have had all the delux stuff, lived with miles of island in the kitchen and entertained the troops. I am now 70 and still adore cooking just not for so many people these days. I have gotten rid of all the heavy pans with awful handles and now use farberware on my induction range and in my bosch dishwasher. These farberware sauce pans are easy, sturdy and useful. This tiny 1 quart will finish up the set of pots and pans that I use all the time.

Unbelievable good pans

I started using my Farberware pans on April 10, 1964. - 62 year anniversary coming up and they are still going strong - using them every day! The only thing wrong is that one knob is off the large pan. That was a great purchase!

Excellent saucepan, Excellent Price

This is the second of these saucepans for our kitchen. I've been using one for decades, and now my wife has a new one for her own use. She is very pleased with it. No complaints, no problems.

Classic 1qt saucepan

I have cooked with Farberware stainless steel since the late 1980s. I finally had to replace my 1 qt saucepan. The new one performs great and cleans up just as easily. It's not quite the same shape as the original, a little taller and a little less big around, but it works just as well.

Truly Quality Pots

I was introduced to Farberware more than 50 years ago by my mother. She owned several pieces that I now proudly have in my own kitchen. I even have my own set which I've owned for over 30 years, and when I recently needed to add a few more saucepans, there was truly no question about what brand I would choose. Review of 45 year old set

I'd like to review my 45 year old Farberware pots given to me as a bridal shower gift. Only recently have two pots - of the original set of 5 - needed replacing. These two post have been used almost daily and only became unusable when we could not keep the handles tightened. Prior to this they all were in excellent condition. What more can you ask of a product? So naturally, when I needed to replace 2 pots, I ordered Farberware!

Best saucepans ever

I actually purchased these 2 classic stainless steel saucepans for my daughter (she loves them), because my mom had given a set of these pans to me many years ago. And I am still using them! Please, Farberware, do not ever discontinue these; they are the best!
