A: Thanks for your question! Yes, you can use cooking spray on stainless steel to prevent sticking, but it's generally better to use a light drizzle of regular oil or butter, as aerosol sprays with lecithin can build up a stubborn, sticky, polymerized residue over time, making pans harder to clean, especially if overheated.

Read the directions...
We switched to these because they are non toxic. If you never experienced cooking with these types of pans before read the directions on how to use. As others have commented everything sticks to the pan, in my case yes it happened too. I then decided to read the directions that came with the pan and food no longer stuck to the pan. Sometimes is user error. I love the pans, I think they are easy to clean and cook with once you familiarize yourself with the directions.

Fantastic Skillet – Just Learn the Technique!
I was honestly hesitant to buy this stainless steel skillet at first because of all the reviews saying everything sticks. But after actually using it and learning how to cook with it properly, I love it! Yes, food can stick if you don’t know how to use stainless steel, but once you get the hang of it, it’s amazing. I’ve cooked eggs, steak, pancakes—you name it—and they come out beautifully when you follow the right steps. How to Use: Preheat the skillet first, then splash a few drops of water on it. If the water turns into little beads and dances around the surface, it’s ready and nonstick. That’s the magic moment to add your oil and start cooking. Cleaning: Cleaning is surprisingly easy too. I just pour in some water while it’s still warm, let it soak a bit, and use a stainless steel scrubber. Everything comes right off—no elbow grease needed. Overall, I’m so glad I went for it. Don’t let the “everything sticks” comments scare you off. Learn the technique, and this skillet becomes one of the most versatile tools in your kitchen. Highly recommend!

Bought this pack, and when I opened it at home, one pan had obviously already been used. With stains and wire pad scrubbed circles in it. I'm so disappointed just in whoever did that and Target for not seeing it when whoever returned it, and now I have to deal with it.

Yeah… it’s not great. I followed the instructions as far as it heat it and wait a couple minutes for it to be hot; then putting oil on the pan and food shouldn’t stick… well it still sticks. Just not what I expected.

DO NOT BUY!!!!!! DAMAGED AFTER FIRST USE!!!! Just purchased a few hours ago and used for the first time. Immediately after using it, I noticed a stain that I could not clean off inside the pain. And on the bottom of the pan you could see that it was being burned!! Terrible terrible quality and a hazard to use! Do not purchase this for your own safety.
