I noticed the majority of the positive reviews are from a product promotion. Here’s a review from someone who didn’t get this for free: don’t waste your money, or at least not on the Cosmic Chrome color. It chips within a day, with or without a base/top coat, whether I wear it alone or layer it on top of another color. I an being generous by rating it 2 stars because the effect is actually really pretty and the formula goes on smoothly and streak-free. Other than that, do not ruin a good manicure with this polish that’s more sensitive than an eggshell.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I let my daughter put down a white base coat layer and then she did 2 layers of the blue. I like it, it is nice. I wish it was a bit more blue and a bit less transparent. It has a nice sparkle/glitter to it though!

Her take on the color: A bright, sun-kissed coral with the prettiest shimmer. She said it’s the kind of shade that instantly makes your hands look more tan, more polished, more “vacation-ready.” Safe to say, I noticed too.

A sheer, shimmer/glitter nail polish is my go-to, and this couldn’t be better. I’ve been searching for a pink glitter polish, but I’ve only seen silver or gold glitters in a sheer pink base. Essie knocked this one out of the park for me. I love the subtle flash of pink. The formula is long-lasting, especially compared to other glitters/shimmers, which can flake off within a few days. It’s a durable, smooth finish. I worried about drying time which was mentioned in some reviews, but I didn’t have any problem. I can’t wait to try more colors!

Not the same Essie i ised to know and love
I feel like Essie has changed something about their polishes. They seem a bit thicker. I feel like the brush drags the color and leaves streaks. They don’t dry as fast and stay tacky for way longer than I have time for. Super disappointing. Essie has been my go to for years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love Essie products, and this one totally delivers. As part of the nail art studio line it gives a lovely special effect. You can of course use it on its own, but it looks great as a sparkle on top of your standard polish. I found it last roughly about a week, but I don’t treat my nails that well. Super fun for summer.

First of all the packaging is so cute and would look perfect in a beach bag or travel bag for the summer. I absolutely love the innovation in nail care that I am seeing in this nail polish and color. I love how it can be worn alone or by itself and still be a stunning color. I'm so excited for all of the different looks I can do with this color.
