Disapointed
The color in the photo is way lighter and more jelly than how it appears in person just in the bottle. Upon application the first coat is thin and jelly however each additional layer just makes it cloudy and bubbly.

Streaky and not really jelly
Streaky. Not jelly. Not transparent unless you do one coat (which looks streaky). If you specifically want jelly polish don’t get this one.

The color is not quite as bold as the photo, but it’s still a gorgeous subtle pink. It’s a little more like cherry blossom pink, and the effect after one coat looks like pink milk glass… GORGEOUS. No Really A Jelly Polish
It’s a really nice color but I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone looking for a jelly polish. The sheerness and opacity is super uneven so it just ends up looking like a polish with bad opacity rather than an intentionally sheer polish. Will definitely be returning unfortunately :(

I really love the look of the sheer jelly polishes, but I found the blue one to have more of a sheer creme finish rather than a jelly one. this photo shows one coat of all the colors plus one of my natural nails. the application wasn't bad, but it wasn't instantaneously even. overall really nice polish, but maybe not for the jelly line!

This took three coats but the drying time is very fast. The amount of product the brush picks up is perfect. This is a pricier polish but I think the quality makes it worth it. I would buy more shades!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I knew the polish would be sheer but this is so sheer. 1 coat has barely any color and I did not want to paint like 10 coats on my finger to get it to the color that the bottle is. However, it does dry fast since it’s so sheer.

Chic and Sheer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Essie Jelly Gloss nail polish is great for a sheer look but still adds a chic and pop of color. I’m glad to have this addition to my nail polish palette and collection. I’ve only worn this on its own but can see it be a layering look or design a custom look for your nails. If you do apply this color alone, I would recommend adding more than one layer as the first application is very sheer. But once you layer, the color shows more prominently. It also does have a jelly gloss feel and makes my nails feel so shiny. Lastly drying time was a lot faster than expected. Within five minutes, my nails were already dry and ready for show off. I highly recommend and love that I can layer and build on the colors without having the polish look streaky.
