Love this tumbler!

The new travel mug will pair but the app update erased my profile and my 2 older mugs will NOT pair. So both my older $100 mugs are basically rendered useless by the APP no longer working for them. I’ve already used the new mug so I can’t return it. These were great mugs but the customer support and technology built in obsolescence is truly bad faith and my trust in this company is broken. I’ve literally tried every possible option online to fix this—and if you go online you will see very active and lively discussions among the many many many customers this has affected. Truly pathetic customer support. I left a 1 star review on the app too. Find something else to keep your coffee hot until/unless the company starts to care about maintaining customer satisfaction over time.

We’re obsessed with Ember. Have multiple cups but we knew we needed the travel version. Couldn’t beat the discount we received during the holiday sale

My issue is with the date the order was supposed to arrive. The product didn't even ship until the day I was told it would be delivered, and now it won't be here in time for what I needed it for. Had I known I would have ordered from somewhere I could rely on. I'm sure the product is great though. 😕

First time trying to use it and it just keeps saying “empty”.

Easy to use and keeps coffee at exactly the temperature of your liking. if only it held a bit more lol

Overpriced for what the battery life is. It says it’ll last 3 hours, but you’re lucky if it lasts even for 1 hour. During my 15 minute drive to work, the battery is already drained 10%. If you want a self-heating mug, take my advice and buy one that’s not so overpriced and under delivers.

I just purchased the 16oz Tumbler for the 20% deal. Didn't have a promo code so thought everything would adjust at checkout. It had offered Free Personalization so I thought why not!...well, it doesn't state that if you Personalization would exclude you to the promotion. VERY MISLEADING!! FALSE ADVERTISEMENT! DON'T BUY AND FALL FOR THEIR PROMOTION!!! I WOULD HAVE GIVEN IT A ZERO STAR but doesn't have a selection for it. BUYER BEWARE!!! BBB will get a notification for this.

It was worth the discount I got it for. Keeps my drinks at my favorite temperature.

I had my Tumbler mug for 2-3 years. During that time, I found that the battery life was so-so, at best and charging was commonly frustrating. I always added hot liquids to the mug, so I never asked it to heat from room temperature (this alone will drain the battery), but even then, unless you're planning on drinking pretty soon after filling, the clock is ticking! Maybe that is also because I like my coffee hot -- the max temperature this thing will go to -- and the battery life times they quote are assuming you like your coffee somewhere between hot and room temp. The mug almost always had to be "jostled" or twisted (or whatever) in the charging disc to get it to begin charging, a routine that took several minutes every day. I had to replace the charging disc once during this time, as the contact points are prone to damage. Last week, the mug finally died for good. I'm on the fence as to whether I will replace it or see what else is out there. I notice that Ember has not redesigned or otherwise improved the Tumbler since it was introduced. Seems odd, as this should be the low-hanging fruit for them.

I bought this last year around Christmas and had not used it. I just started using about a month ago and the idea of it is great but sometimes it turns off by itself, sometimes I turn it on and pour coffee in it and it says it’s empty on the app. I cannot set a timer on it and to be able to work I have to keep it on the charger.

Too bad in terms of battery life. From 85F to 135F it took 1 hr and took 80% of the battery.

The size is perfect and it keeps my coffee hot to the last drop. It’s a bit pricey but I like it.

Thankfully, I didn’t spend my own money on this—received it as a gift. Unfortunately, that’s the only upside. This tumbler is more of a tech gimmick than a practical product. It lacks proper insulation, so once the internal battery dies, your drink loses heat rapidly. On top of that, the lid with the sliding mechanism broke after about a year of light use. For the price, it’s just not worth it. You’re much better off investing in a well-insulated mug or tumbler from a more reliable brand.

Mug is great but sliding lid is crap, broke pretty quickly after purchasing and replacement lids are always out of stock.

Got th8s as a christmas gift and love it. Wish they would make a car charger that plugs into usb as my new truck doesn't have a cigarette lighter plug.

Part of the lid broke almost a month ago and Ember customer service is completely radio silent. Apparently this is a major problem that many people are having. Do not buy any of their products until they have a customer service team again. It’s borderline a scam at this point.

This is the best mug ever . Keep my coffee warm all day . I'm very happy with the product . 3 hour is enough. It's good for working from home and drinking coffeee from home or spending half day at work . I love this tumblr. Upgraded from the mug .

Bought this "Special Edition" Topo AS SOON AS it came out and the lid leaks ALREADY. The mug is FANTASTIC, but what good is it IF THE SEAL HAS TO BE REPLACED CONSTANTLY!!! 4 months???? It needs to be better and it would be PERFECT. LOVE the topographic map AND the 16 oz size!

This is an ill-conceived product. As an avid smart home enthusiast (Home Assistant), there is one major rule to smart devices. Take away the smart and it must function perfectly fine as a dumb solution. The tumbler has no vacuum or any insulation to it and so not only is it not energy efficient which would make the battery last much, much longer but it also is useless the moment the battery is out. The charging is slow, there is no good way to charge while on the road. It's just not good enough, especially for the high price.
