Thankfully, I came across this 4 quart stainless steel dull basket deep fryer from Elite Gourmet. I love that this deep fryer has two separate baskets that are a really good size. I am able to cook two different items at the same time or a lot of the same item at once. This deep fryer has changed the way I cook so many different items now. I will never cook fried foods like french fries and chicken nuggets any other way, but in this deep fryer. The deep fryer is very easy to assemble and easy to clean. I really like that the deep fryer comes with an instruction manual in case you cannot figure out how to use it. It has a nice little window on top of the lid so you can check on what you’re cooking. The lid helps keep the oil inside while everything is frying so that it doesn’t make a mess or get on you. The deep fryer makes a little noise but it isn’t too loud. The deep fryer goes all the way up to 375 Fahrenheit which gives you a lot more options of what you’re able to deep fry at home. I really like that this small appliance is not too big at all and it’s easy to store away in my cabinets with no issues. I absolutely love how fried foods taste after being deep-fried in the Elite Gourmet deep fryer. This is absolutely my favorite small appliance in my house now. My kids love that we do not have to wait for carnivals or fairs to come to town to start getting deep-fried foods. Now we are making them ourselves at home now and saving money too. I've never had a deep fryer but it's not loud and it's a nice stainless steel and black design. The basket holds a decent amount of food and there's two so it's great! The basket does a good job with keeping crumbs or small pieces of food from forming at the bottom of the basin. It seems pretty sturdy and will last a while.

We liked that the deep fryer has an automatic shut off feature (just in case the fryer became too hot/overheat). It took almost a gallon of oil (you are supposed to fill it up in between the min and max line; don’t go over the max line and don’t stay under the min line). Material-wise, it did what it needed to do: the fish was crispy and good and the fries were cooked nicely.
