Q: Does this chopper have a prop 65 warning?

A: From what I've read, all the components that come in contact with food are BPA free. I haven't seen a Prop 65 warning at all, & I've looked online at a lot of the descriptions & specifications.

A: I think you would need a food processor for that.This is kore like a veggie chopper it seems like. Hope that helps.

A: Yes! It works great for this and I've done it often. The chickpeas fit into the bowl with a little room for other ingredients. Put cover on, push down until smooth. Too thick? Lift lid, add oil or 🍋

A: If you rehydrate it, that’s what i do. Dry hard kibble will just ruin the blades.

A: Thank you for your question. The Food Chopper model 72850 will operate at 350 Watts while model 72860 will operate at 175 Watts. The bowl are not interchangeable between the appliances.

Very limited things it works for - read review
I bought for making chef salad, tzatziki, tabouli, and guacamole. GREAT: tzatziki, tabouli, fine chopped slaw, and guacamole, salsa SUCKS! salad !!!! The difference? 1) Cannot dice or chop tomatoes. Total fail on this. 2) Cucumbers: by the time I spend scooping out seeds and chopping small enough for machine to handle, I might as well just chop it myself. 3) Green peppers: made very watery. I dumped onto paper towel, covered with more paper towel, pressed hard. That pulled up most water. Then i air dried. 4) Onions - Good, but wet. See how to dry green pepper. CLEAN UP: Easy! Watch the blade!!! Blade falls out when hand rinsing between vegetables. It needs a release button. I kept coming very close to getting cut lifting out so I could scoop out vegetables. CONSISTENCY ON SIZE OF PIECES: Zero control! I had fine and some big chunks left. If you want very small or small pieces, like for tabouli, this works. For chef salad this is not as good as a food processor. Conclusion: Save money and invest in a good reviewed food processor.

Good Size for Small Jobs
I get tired of assembling my large food processor for small jobs. This chopper is what I wanted for nuts and pates that are in the 3 cup range. It chops well. I found it didn’t mix well but I easily did that by hand.

this is a powerful little machine! I bought it to grind oats and grains for my baby instead of the flake "oatmeal" sold for babies.
