Purpose

Saline Laxative..

Stop use and ask a doctor if: you have rectal bleeding or fail to have a bowel movement after using this product. These could be a signs of a serious condition.,you need to use a laxative for more than 1 week.

Directions

Drink a full glass (8 oz) of liquid with each dose. Dose may be taken as a single daily dose or in divided doses. Do not exceed the maximum recommended daily dose in a 24 hour period.

Adults and Children 12 Years of Age and Over

Take 2 to 4 chews.

Children 6 to Under 12 Years of Age

Take 1 to 2 chews.

Children 4 to Under 6 Years of Age

Take 1 chew (single dose or in divided doses).

Children Under 4 Years of Age

  • A: Pedialax makes a magnesium hydroxide product for younger children, along with other remedies. It is 1/3 the dose as one of these chews. If diet or behavioral remedies don't work, magnesium can help the problem from worsening. Make sure you use it long enough that any discomfort from the original constipation has had a chance to heal, so that they don't start withholding stool. This is important for very young children like toddlers. They won't remember the 1000 comfortable poops they had before if one really hurts.

The Sooner You Take, the Faster They Work

These DO WORK in about 3 hours if taken early on. If you wait too long, then it can be about 10 hours. Best to take when you know "things are sluggish" and will become worse. They soften the stool without violent intestinal upset. Taste great and work well while traveling.

They don’t work

I took four of these with Joe two giant glasses of water. It’s now been three hours and zero nothing I do not recommend three hours of pain and misery. These should probably be good for children but not for an adult. I highly advise you to look for something else.

Definitely not 30 minutes or less, I took 4 chews around 4pm and went to the bathroom the next morning, before that I was in so much pain and it made my stomach so swollen and bloated it hurt to touch, the flavor was not that bad at first but then it got gross and it had a horrible after taste that stayed in my mouth all day,it worked but at what cost 😭

Works very well for me to be able to have regular movements , I wish there were other flavors . I got very sick of the mixed berry flavor .. it started making me nauseous after a month. So I haven’t been able to take them.

Eventually works and you don’t have to strain

These do work, but not very fast. It usually takes two days of taking to help me have a bowel movement. Definitely not fast acting, but atleast I don’t have to strain when I am finally able to have one.

Great taste in an easy chew for amazing relief!

Soft chews which makes it easy to take. The flavor is great with mixed berry. Love how it has a resealable package. It is very effective when taking two chews to help. Taking one does not do the trick. I find it’s a great value for the quantity and quality of this product.

Inconsistent

I have been taking these for a bit now and they are so inconsistent. I could take the max dose and nothing happen or have a lot happen. I wish I could depend on it for regularity but it's possible my body's not working with it.

These taste good, but aren’t super effective. You have to take quite a few to get them to work. I’d suggest going with the regular pill form of dulcolax.
