A: Per the picture of the kettle, the minimum amount of water you can heat is 0.5L (approximately 16.9 oz).

A: This unit does not, in fact, beep. The only sound it makes is the soft mechanical click of the automatic shut-off activating. I've used this kettle almost every day for an entire year, love it!

A: Possibly. But you can fully remove the plastic lid before pouring the hot water.

A: It is normal to see the red light when the unit is first powered on. The green light will illuminate when the water has finished boiling.

At the part where you clean it before using but I expect it to be perfect for tea!
