My old (expensive, name brand) stove top kettle was rusting on the inside. I figured now was the time to try and switch to an electric kettle. I wish I had done this years ago! It is so fast, the variety of temp settings are amazing and no more rusting!

Terrific hot water pot. Very attractive and very functional. It boils water in just a few minutes, and then automatically goes into a temperature hold mode.

Unlike so many other electric kettles, the Cuisinart has a thermostat to get the water exactly to the temperature that I select. A very well made kitchen appliance.

Leaked and was inoperable within one week. This is my 3rd unit of this and it died fast.

I’m not sure what else can be asked of an appliance like this. It does what it says it will do. I have only used it a few times and with smaller amounts of water but it heats it up to the desired temperature very quick.

Initially bought one due to the Wirecutter review. That one lasted about 5 years with daily use, so when it finally broke, we decided to replace it with another of the same. Checked on Wirecutter and found that it is still the one that is their top pick.

Love this kettle. Replaced one i had since 2018 which i had scratched up by my own fault. This product saved us when we remodeled and enabled hot water when we had no working kitchen. I use it for dinner parties and daily cup of tea. It is a workhorse and very well made. Simple to clean.

Electric kettles have been a mainstay in our kitchen for 30 years, and we have tried many brands. We recently stayed at an Airbnb that had this Cuisinart kettle and liked it so much we bought one as soon as we retuned home. We love the choice of heat settings and the keep hot function. It does cost a bit more than some kettles, but the value makes it worth the price.

I've been using one of these at least once a day for two years now, which is probably a positive data point as to its durability. One thing I find funny about electric kettles is that almost every one on the market has its own bizarre design quirk (or several). This kettle is no exception—although I still do find it fine and preferable to most others—because of the feature that when you take it off the base, pour out the water, and then put it back on, the default is for it to start heating again according to the previous setting. So, if there's no water in it, it gets super hot and starts beeping rapidly and making all sorts of ominous clicking and snapping noises. It is hard to imagine why the designers thought this was the correct default. Surely, most of the times one puts a kettle back on its base, it is because one is done using it.

Heats up fast, it's quiet and I'm enjoying the different temperature settings. The only drawback is the small opening for filling but other than that, it was well worth the price.

It works exactly as it’s promised. We enjoy evening tea daily. Maybe several times in a day.

The kettle is beautiful and works like a dream, but all of the plastic in the boiling chamber makes the water taste like chemicals. I have boiled countless batches of water and it still smells and tastes horrible! Very Disappointed! :(

We were looking to replace our water kettle as the handle of the old one broke. This being the third time we were in the market for a water kettle after various aspects stopped working or broke, we decided to look for a different brand. This kettle feels solid and sturdy. We were pleased with attachment of the lid being well designed hinges and the minimal plastic used in construction. I love that it holds the water temperature for me while I'm running around making breakfast for the family.
